General: The track was harrowed to a depth of 90mm on Saturday 27/09/2025.

Prior to the running of race 4, Stewards directed that all races be delayed one race time slot to allow for remedial work to be conducted on the track.

Race 1 - TONY GLOVER MIXED 3/4 380m

5 Billy Buttons – Put in an awkward stride in the back straight and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

Race 2 - JUSTIN REID GRADE 4 (1) 380m

8 Harlem Shuffle – A pre-race sample was obtained.

Race 3 - JEFF LYNCH FFA 380m

2 Court Model – Checked rounding the first turn and faltered in its action. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the right hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory Stewards trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

Race 4 - BURDEKIN VETERINARY SERVICES GRADE 5 498m

Prior to the running of this race, Stewards ordered that all races be delayed one time slot to allow for remedial work to be conducted on the track. Prior to resuming racing, Stewards inspected the track and deemed the surface suitable to continue racing.

6 Tilly’s Son – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the right fore foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

8 Holder Austin – Faltered in its action leaving the starting boxes. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a puncture wound to the right hind foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

Race 5 - IN MEMORY OF POPPY ED SAMPSON MIXED 4/5 498m

Race 6 - BET NATION TOWNSVILLE FUTURITY FINAL OPEN 498m

1 Bug Me More – Contacted the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
