2 Kasey’s Way – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin. Checked rounding the first turn.

3 Pika Wave – When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance, trainer Ms. B. Chaffey stated that the greyhound is returning from a minor muscle strain in the hind leg and feels the 3 week freshen up has benefitted the greyhound, further stating that the she has been pleased by the greyhounds work and it trialled well prior to nominating to race.

2 Aston Kinnie – Made contact with the running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
3 Gidgee Bug – (Beaten favourite) Bumped shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a cervico-thoracic strain, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

2 Shake The Dust – (Beaten favourite) Bumped shortly after the start. Bumped and became unbalanced on entering the home straight.
5 Aussie Audi – Late scratching at 8:41am pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards have received a veterinary certificate.

2 Rambutan Beast – Faltered in its action approaching the first turn. Conceded ground and finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.
