3 Hit After Hit – Stewards spoke to Bobbie Jean Chaffey regarding the greyhound’s performance. Ms Chaffey stated although the greyhound had been starting well since having a short spell the win was unexpected, she further stated that she did not support the greyhound in today’s event. Stewards noted the submissions.
4 Basil Fawlty – Checked in the back straight then commenced to give ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side front leg abrasion, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
