1 Elegant Dancer – Severley checking entering the home turn then trailed the field for the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

5 Covered Call – Severely checked then made contact with the rail in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 4 – ROSS WILKIE FISHING GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

4 Strawberry Wine – Hit the rail in the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

 

Race 5 – PLACE A SRM WITH BET NATION 0-4 WINS 498m

3 Hit After Hit – Stewards spoke to Bobbie Jean Chaffey regarding the greyhound’s performance. Ms Chaffey stated although the greyhound had been starting well since having a short spell the win was unexpected, she further stated that she did not support the greyhound in today’s event. Stewards noted the submissions.

 

4 Basil Fawlty – Checked in the back straight then commenced to give ground appearing injured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a near side front leg abrasion, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.
