1 Flying In Style – Checked rounding the first turn and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
4 Moonshine Magic – Checked and fell racing through the first turn. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

1 Eight Old Mates – Slow to begin. Checked off another runner entering the first turn. Collided with another runner in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.

4 Ben Tango – Was observed to be difficult to place into the starting boxes at the start of the event. Stewards spoke to handler Mr. C. Scifleet regarding the greyhounds’ boxing manners and noting this was the first incident and out of character for the greyhound, Stewards accepted Mr. Scifleet’s explanation, and no further action was taken.

4 On Holidays – (Beaten favourite) Tightened between runners shortly after the start and was checked. Hampered by another runner rounding the first turn.

Race 11 - ROSS WILKIE FISHING GRADE 5 498m

5 Navabi – Contacted the running rail on the turn off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 10 days.

|
5 Sorry Nan – Put in an awkward stride entering the home turn. In the home straight, faltered in its action and lost ground sharply. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to future nominations being accepted.
