Race 1 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN 380m

 

6 Hey Warrior – Checked off the heels of another runner in the back straight and lost ground. Appeared awkward in its action rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 2 – HARA'S HERBIE AT STUD MAIDEN FINAL MAIDEN 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 3 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 6 380m

 

1 Big Papa Party – Fell in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 4 – BETNATION.COM.AU 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 5 – ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING 0-3 WINS 498m

 

1 Honey Bunny – Turned its head outwards towards another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Steward’s spoke to trainer Mr. M. Pandelakis regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 124 Fail to pursue (1st offence) – 28 days stand down at Townsville and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

 

Race 6 - BET NATION SAME RACE MULTI GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

1 Empty Sky – A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the left hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 7 - DOWNLOAD THE BET NATION APP GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

2 Aston Atkins – Late scratching at 1:44pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a laceration to the offside shoulder during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

 

5 Hara’s Scarlet – Late scratching at 1:44pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to be in season during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

 

 

Race 8 - AUSSIE PET & ANIMAL TRAVEL GRADE 4 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

 

Race 9 - FUEL PT TRAINING SOLUTIONS MIXED 3/4 380m

 

4 Popular Monster – Bumped in the back straight and lost significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to both hind legs, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

7 Organised Kaos – (Beaten favourite) Marginally slow to begin.
