Race 1 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE GRADE 4 (1) 380m |

4 Drink Shiraz – Tightened between runners in the back straight and checked on multiple occasions. Conceded considerable ground and failed to complete the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside back muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

3 Shine On Ski – Checked shortly after the start. Conceded ground rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards directed trainer Mr. R. Lound to report back should any abnormalities become apparent in the coming days. |

7 Bogie Frank – Made contact with the inside running rail turning off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the nearside hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

2 Mad Bunch – Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed bruising to the offside shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.
4 Pika Wave – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the offside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.

6 Ordinary – Became awkward in its action rounding the home turn. Conceded ground in the home straight approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to have cramped. The greyhound has been stood down for 7 days, under the provisions of GAR130(a) the greyhound must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to future nominations being accepted.
