Race 1 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE MAIDEN (1) 380m

 

1 Young Miss Karen Slow to begin and pulled up in the back straight taking no further competitive part in the event.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

Steward’s spoke to trainer R.Lound regarding the greyhound’s racing manners. After considering all available evidence, Stewards invoked GAR 125 Failing to pursue by reason of injury – 5 days stand down and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

6 Hello Sailer – Bumped with another runner entering the first turn and ran the remainder of the event with a dislodged muzzle.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

 

Race 2 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MAIDEN (2) 380m

Race 3 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES GRADE 6 (1) 380m

Race 4 – BETNATION.COM.AU GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

3 Hara’s Sonya - Late scratching pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to being in season, the greyhound has been stood down for 28 days.

 

7 Nikki’s Regret - Underwent a veterinary examination prior to racing and was passed fit to race.

 

Race 5 – JACK LYNCH 0-3 WINS 498m

Race 7 - TZOUVELIS RACING GRADE 5 (2) 380m

 

2 Ouch My Franky - Late scratching at 11:12am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

4 Rose Belle – Tightened and checked leaving the back straight.  Took an awkward stride rounding the first turn and commenced to give ground appearing injured.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down from racing for 90 days and must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to racing next.

 

Race 8 - BET NATION 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 380m

 

No matters of concern to Stewards.

 

Race 9 - PAT GROVES GRADE 5 (3) 380m

 

7 Hit After Hit – Commenced to give ground in the back straight appearing injured.  A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside hindlimb and under the provisions of GAR 41(1) the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days.

 

Race 10 - CHEAPA AUTO SPARES PATHWAYS HEAT 1 5PW 380m
