3 George Jetson – When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer Ms. B. Chaffey stated that the greyhounds performance was unexpected, adding that the greyhound has had a spell and had not undertaken any hard work in the last two weeks, further adding that she did not support the runner in wagering. Stewards noted the explanation.

1 Roman Party – Fell in the catching pen after the event had concluded. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 9 - PLACE A SRM WITH BET NATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m |

5 Opal Emgrand – Faltered in its action entering the first turn and lost ground. Finished tailed off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside fore leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 21 days.

Race 10 – BET NATION 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

2 Boom Smacking – Checked rounding the first turn and lost significant ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hip support, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
3 Canya Stella – Checked rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Go The Blues – Lost ground rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Stewards directed trainer Ms. C. Pickard to report back to Stewards should any abnormalities become apparent in the coming days. Trainer Ms. C. Pickard advised Stewards on Saturday 09/05 that the greyhound was sore in the hip region and intends to give the greyhound a short spell.
