General: Club staff advised that the track was harrowed to a depth of 60mm on Thursday 28/05/2026.

Race 1 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES GRADE 3 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 2 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE GRADE 4 (1) 380m

 

4 Raccoon Roger – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin. Checked off heels exiting the first turn and was then clipped on the heels by another runner.

 

8 Gengar Wave – Checked and stumbled rounding the first turn, became unbalanced momentarily. A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the nearside fore paw and a nearside fore toe injury. Under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 21 days.

 

 

Race 3 – KEYFLO PACIFIC PTY LTD GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 4 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 5 643m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 5 – MPL REFRIGERATION GRADE 5 (1) 498m

 

2 Velocity Montana – Faltered in its action in the back straight and conceded significant ground. Failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 28 days and must complete a satisfactory stewards trial prior to future nominations being accepted.

 

 

Race 6 - NQ MARINA SEAFOOD GRADE 5 (2) 498m

 

Prior to the running of this event, Stewards inspected an area of the track including the back straight and turn off back straight and deemed the track suitable to continue racing.

1 Empty Sky – Checked off another runner multiple times exiting the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

3 Aussie Audi – Checked off another runner multiple times exiting the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 11 - PLACE A SRM WITH BET NATION GRADE 5 (2) 380m

6 Big Bubba Gump – Dragged down rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a split webbing and spike wound to the nearside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

7 Average Return – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a torn nail to the offside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.
