Race 1 – AUSSIE PET & ANIMAL TRAVEL GRADE 5 (1) 380m

2 Starry Raymar – (Beaten favourite) Checked in the back straight. Checked rounding the first turn.

Race 2 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES GRADE 5 (2) 380m

6 Mad Attitude – Checked exiting the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed spike wounds to both hind paws, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

Race 3 – TZOUVELIS RACING STAYERS CHALLENGE OPEN 643m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 4 – ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING GRADE 5 498m

3 Mick’s Belle – (Beaten favourite) Clipped on the heels and checked shortly after the start.

8 Valeena Boy – When asked to comment on the greyhound’s improved performance, trainer Ms. R. Essery acknowledged that it was the greyhounds second start over the distance and was able to avoid any interference in the run. Ms Essery added that she supported the runner with a minor wager.

Race 5 – SIC AIR CONDITIONING MIXED 4/5 498m

At the conclusion of this event the placings where semaphored as 8-5-7-3 before being corrected by the Judge to 8-5-3-7 on which the all clear signal was given.

5 Takeover Target – A pre-race sample was obtained.

Race 6 - BET NATION TOWNSVILLE GRAND PRIX HEAT 1 OPEN 498m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 7 - BET NATION TOWNSVILLE GRAND PRIX HEAT 2 OPEN 498m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 8 - PARKER RACING NQ FFA 380m

3 Moonshine Magic – Made contact with the inside running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

6 Total Franky – Put in an awkward stride and lost ground approaching the finishing line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

Race 9 - MURRAY DRIBBUS LAWYERS WOLLONGONG MIXED 3/4 380m

3 Dinosaur Bones – Dragged down exiting the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion and bruising to the nearside hind leg, no stand down time was issued.

Race 10 - DON HOBSON PLUMBING GRADE 4 (1) 380m

2 Good Odds Raven – Pulled up with a shortened stride in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside wrist, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

Race 11 - BETNATION.COM.AU GRADE 4 (2) 380m

2 Hara’s Kitana – Checked and fell rounding the first turn. Failed to complete the course. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside shoulder, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

Race 12 - BET NATION MIXED 4/5 380m

2 Emgrand Flash – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed to compete.

3 Precocious Storm – (Beaten favourite) Slow to begin.
