2 Ruby Juby – Made contact with the inside running rail rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside hind leg, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.
4 Melora – Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request which revealed an injury to a nearside fore toe, no stand down time was issued.
6 Looks The Trick – Late scratching at 10:26am 18/06 pursuant to GAR 76(2) due to a offside back muscle injury, the greyhound has been stood down for 10 days. Stewards have received a veterinary certificate.
7 Raccoon Rusty – When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance, trainer Ms. G. Thomson stated that the greyhound jumped well today and benefitted from leading. Ms Thomson added that she did not support the runner in wagering.
