6 Hara’s Suzuki – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the nearside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 9 – PARTY CREEK KENNELS GRADE 4 (2) 380m

 

3 Emmy Panama – Checked and lost footing rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

4 Eternal Winter – Bumped heavily shortly after the start. Checked rounding the first turn and appeared awkward in its action thereafter. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the offside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

7 Hara’s Rex – Dragged down rounding the first turn and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the nearside fore paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 10 – BET NATION SAME RACE MULTI GRADE 4 (3) 380m

 

1 Hunter’s Boy – Bumped and made contact with the inside running rail in the back straight and rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

 

Race 11 – PETER GROVES GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

3 Reckless Ruby – Made contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside triceps, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 12 – BET NATION GRADE 5 (2) 380m

Race 13 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 5 (3) 380m

 

2 King And I – (Beaten favourite) Clipped on the heels rounding the first turn.

 

5 Miss Pumpkin – When questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer Mr. G. Farrell stated that he was pleased with the greyhounds previous run of 2nd place and believed that his runner would be competitive in the event, adding that he was confident in the greyhounds’ chances after obtaining the lead. Mr. Farrell further stated that he did not support the runner in wagering.
