2 Zero Forging – Shifted ground around the heels of another runner in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to the nearside fore leg and hind leg.
8 Demister – Checked rounding the first turn. Dragged down in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the offside hind paw, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

4 Bogie Frank – Tightened for racing room through the first turn and was checked and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed abrasions to the nearside hind leg, no stand down time was issued.
8 Weather Report – When asked to comment on the greyhound’s performance, trainer Mr. M. Partland stated that he believed the greyhound would improve today off the previous 498m event.
