General: During races 6 & 7, the semaphore board failed and was unable to display the placings, margins and times. All information was verified by Stewards and the Judge before being broadcast This fault was rectified by race 8.

Race 1 – ESSERY RACING MAIDEN (1) 380m

Race 2 – PLACE A SRM WITH BET NATION MAIDEN (2) 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 3 – T.G.B.O.T.A GRADE 6 (1) 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 4 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES GRADE 6 (2) 380m

 

7 Utah Saint – Checked and fell in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

 

8 On Target – (Beaten favourite) A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When questioned regarding the performance, trainer Mr. M. Hickmott stated that he believed the greyhound to be a false favourite and did not wager on the greyhound.

 

 

Race 5 – GRANNY GARROW MA5 380m

 

4 Aston Elijah – (Beaten favourite) Bumped shortly after the start and throughout the back straight. Checked off the heels of another runner rounding the first turn. Raced wide rounding the home turn.

 

 

Race 6 – BET NATION 0-3 WINS 498m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 7 – LENREX PTY LTD 1-3 WINS FINAL 1-3 WINS 380m

Race 8 – BET NATION SAME RACE MULTI 5TH GRADE HEAT 1 GRADE 5 380m

Race 9 – PATRICK DANIELS 5TH GRADE HEAT 2 GRADE 5 380m

 

2 Moustache Mick – Became awkward in its action rounding the first turn and conceded ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer Ms R. Essery reported to Stewards that the greyhound was showing soreness in the nearside wrist the following day.  

 

10 Strawberry Wine (7) – Late scratching at 11:00am pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a nearside fore foot injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 10 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE 5TH GRADE HEAT 3 GRADE 5 380m

 

3 Infrasonic – Made contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the nearside head; no stand down was issued.

 

 

Race 11 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES 5TH GRADE HEAT 4 GRADE 5 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 12 – BETNATION.COM.AU 5TH GRADE HEAT 5 GRADE 5 380m
