General: Club staff advised that the track was ripped to a depth of 40mm on Monday 10/08/26.

 

During the preview for race 11 the lure malfunctioned. After attempting remedial works the lure was unable to be fixed and races 11-14 were declared abandoned at 10:10pm.

Race 1 – AUSSIE PET & ANIMAL TRAVEL GRADE 6 380m

 

7 Looks The Trick – Late scratching at 5:51pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have an offside hip injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 7 days.

 

 

Race 2 – CHEAPA AUTO SPARES GRADE 5 (1) 380m

 

2 Infrasonic – Made contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor bruising to the nearside hind leg, no stand down time was issued.

 

3 Montebello – Clipped on the heels shortly after the start. Bumped in the back straight and faltered in its action. Conceded ground throughout the remainder of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the nearside back muscle, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 14 days.

 

 

Race 3 – BET NATION GRADE 4 498m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 4 – ALL RIG LIFTING & ENGINEERING OPEN 498m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 5 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MIXED 5/6 (1) 498m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 6 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE MIXED 5/6 (2) 498m

 

6 Cheap Reality – Late scratching at 5:51pm pursuant to GAR 92(2) when the greyhound was found to have a nearside fore toe injury during kennelling, the greyhound has been stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 7 – A MECH SERVICES MIXED 5/6 (3) 498m

 

8 Navabi – Was found to have vomited in the kennels post-race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the greyhound to be dehydrated, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 5 days.

 

 

Race 8 – GET ON A GOOD THING WITH BET NATION 5TH GRADE FINAL GRADE 5 498m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.

 

 

Race 9 – BOOTHS RURAL MIXED 1/2 380m

 

7 Maple Wave – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the nearside hind foot, under the provisions of GAR41(1) the greyhound was stood down for 3 days.

 

 

Race 10 – HARA'S HERBIE AT STUD MIXED 3/4 380m

 

No apparent reportable incidents.
