6 Gidgee Bug – Checked shortly after the start and in the back straight. Conceded ground from the turn off the back straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer Ms. R. Essery reported to Stewards on Wednesday 19/08 that Gidgee Bug was displaying soreness in the nearside wrist.
