8 Action Man – Checked and forced wide around the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 – BET NATION GRADE 6 380m

4 Miss Brimley – Dragged down another runner rounding the first turn and was severely checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

5 Impress Carmen – Dragged down rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

7 Moonlit Skies – Dragged down rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial spike wound to the nearside hind foot, no stand down time was issued.

Race 3 – BURDEKIN VET SERVICES MA5 (1) 380m

2 Hara’s Meryl – A pre-race sample was obtained. A post-race veterinary examination revealed injuries to the offside triceps and nearside hock, a stand down period of 21 days was issued.

Race 4 – BET NATION TOWNSVILLE MA5 (2) 380m

3 Two Cent Tilly – (Beaten favourite) Bumped in the back straight. Conceded ground from the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside back muscle, a stand down period of 21 days was issued.

Race 5 – NEWS EXPRESS GARBUTT 0-3 WINS 498m

No apparent reportable incidents.

Race 6 – TONY GLOVER MIXED 4/5 498m

2 Cawbourne Slick – A pre-race sample was obtained.

Race 7 – DOWNLOAD THE BET NATION APP MIXED 3/4 380m

7 Shian Peaches – Fell in the catching pen at the conclusion of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 8 – ESSERY RACING FFA 380m

2 He’s Peeking – Dragged down severely when entering the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed superficial abrasions to all feet, no stand down time was issued.

Race 9 – PARKER RACING NQ GRADE 4 380m

2 Sunset Boy – Made contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn and was checked. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

3 Hara’s Rex – Checked by another runner rounding the first turn and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a spike wound to the nearside hind foot, a stand down period of 7 days was issued.

8 King And I – Checked off another runner rounding the first turn and stumbled and fell. Took no further competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an abrasion to the muzzle, no stand down time was issued.

Race 10 – SUNNY HUSSEY SMITH MIXED 4/5 380m

4 Average Return – Dragged down shortly after the start and lost considerable ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

Race 11 – MURRAY BRIBBUS LAWYERS WOLLONGONG GRADE 5 (1) 380m

2 Tweed Dream – Checked in the back straight and became momentarily unbalanced. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to a nearside hind toe, a stand down period of 21 days was issued.

Race 12 – BETNATION.COM.AU GRADE 5 (2) 380m

5 Infrasonic – A post-race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the nearside hind foot, a stand down period of 10 days was issued.

6 Quest For Buzz – Stewards questioned trainer Mr. L. Stokes regarding the boxing of Quest For Buzz. After hearing submissions Stewards reminded Mr Stokes of his obligations when boxing greyhounds and declined to take any further action.
