5 Lord Eddie – A post-race veterinary examination revealed split webbing to the nearside hind, a stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

8 Different Here – Checked off another runner after passing the finishing post. A post-race veterinary examination revealed an injury to the offside hind leg, a stand down period of 90 days was imposed and the greyhound must complete a satisfactory steward’s trial prior to future nominations being accepted.
Race 13 – PLACE A SRM WITH BET NATION GRADE 5 (1) 380m
1 Swanky Franky – Made contact with the inside running rail when rounding the first turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
9 Charlie’s Begonia (5) – Checked and fell in the catching pen. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.

8 Word Smith – Slow to begin. Trailed the field for the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When questioned regarding the greyhounds’ performance, Mr. Scott stated the performance was below expectations and expressed belief that the greyhound did not perform at its usual level. After considering all available evidence Stewards gave the greyhound the benefit of the doubt as to whether it had contravened any rule. Mr. Scott undertook to report back to Stewards should any abnormalities become apparent in the coming days.
