General: Prior to arrival, Stewards were alerted to an irrigation leak that affected a section of the track. The track was inspected by Stewards on three occasions while remedial work was being undertaken with time allowed for the necessary works to be conducted. Following the final inspection prior to kennelling, the race program was declared abandoned by Stewards at 9:30am due to the track being deemed unsuitable for racing. |
