Trainer C. Waller advised that it would be the intention to have the horse ridden back in the field with cover. The horse was ridden accordingly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the filly had cardiac arrhythmia. Mr Waller was advised that SAVACOOL must trial satisfactorily and he must produce a veterinary clearance, including the results of an ECG, prior to the filly being permitted to race again.
