In the circumstances stewards did not believe there was sufficient evidence to warrant a careless riding charge, however, jockey A. Chau, the rider of SUPERGIANT, was advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. The veterinary surgeon reported that the gelding had a slow post-race recovery.
