Near the 900m shifted in abruptly bumping DESERT COWBOY.A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg. Trainer M Boland was advised that a veterinary certificate of soundness would need to be provided to Stewards prior to being permitted to trial or race again.
