DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 31 MARCH 2020
Racing Queensland will extend the early payment option for owners and breeders seeking to register their 2018 foals as QTIS horses until 31 March 2020.
With many Queensland participants facing adversity through the lingering drought conditions across the state, RQ has opted to extend the initial deadline by a further two months, offering respite to those who may be financially impacted at present.
From September 1 2019, RQ’s highly successful thoroughbred breeding incentive scheme, QTIS, will be expanded thanks to QTISx which will provide bonuses on black-type and feature races conducted in Queensland, along with a raft of additional enhancements.
For the first time, the winners of QTISx bonuses will have the option of ‘doubling up’ their winnings through the redemption of a voucher which can be applied to selected Queensland yearling sales, including the Magic Millions and Capricornia Yearling Sale. READ MORE
QTIS has been a shining light for Queensland Racing and its growth is crucial to the ongoing viability of both the breeding and racing industries in our State.
Not only does QTIS provide a great incentive to breed and race horses in Queensland, the QTIS Jewel Raceday has taken the Scheme to another level.
