NQ Barrel Racing Club OTT Bonus

This year there were seven entries into the Off The Track (OTT) Bonus at the North Queensland Barrel Racing Club (NQBRC) Futurity held on 23 June 2019.  The OTT Bonus is awarded to the fastest three off the track horses of the day. READ MORE

2019 State Interschool Championships at Maryborough and Warwick

Interschools encompasses showing, dressage, showjumping and eventing. Off The Track horses excel at and are often the stars of these sports. There were many Thoroughbreds, with their young riders, competing in all events at Maryborough and Warwick. 


Tropical North Showjumping Club OTT Spectacular at 2019 Showjumping Championships

The Inaugural Racing Queensland OTT Spectacular was won by Chloe Taylor and the lovely liver chestnut gelding, Still the Man (aka Diego), who is by Shaft out of the Kenvain mare, Vanity D'or. He had 41 starts for 3 wins and 10 placings. Chloe and Diego are pictured below with Townsville jockey, Pietro Romeo, who presented the trophy and trophy rug.

Second place went to Radj, a 14 year old, 17.2hh gelding who has been off the track since November 2011. He was trained to showjump by Nelson Smyth, at Laurel Glen Equestrian.

Third place was taken out by Fire Engine a 14 year old gelding by Jeune and out of the Kenvain mare, Rose of Helios, who has been off the track since 2013. He was trained to showjump by Brooke Everingham and is now owned by Guilia Rogato of Cairns.
