Race 1: Great Northern Maiden Plate 850 METRES
BRILLIANT MISTAKE- Difficult to load. Stood flat-footed and lost ground. Warning would be placed against the colt.
CYCLONE MARCIA- Shortly after the start, took awkward strides and raced ungenerously for a short distance. Warning would be placed against the filly.
Race 2: Total Eden Class 3 Plate- 850 METRES
CUBA ROSE- Dipped after jumping away.
CAN’T FORGET- Began awkwardly. Raced wide without cover.
BINESI- Rider was harmlessly dislodged during preliminary. Raced wide with cover.
Race 3: Find Us on Facebook QTIS Ratings Band 0-50 Handicap- 1000 METRES
BAR BABY- Began awkwardly.
BAGGER TRICKS- Tightened between runners at the start.
BOXER- Apprentice Q Krogh was fined $200 for use of his whip prior to the 100m. App Krogh’s good record was considered in determination of penalty.
Race 4: Congratulations Dan & Mel Mussig BM 60 Handicap 1194 METRES
MURPHY’S HUSTLER- Slow to begin.
YOU CAN’T BE- Jockey D. Evans was fined $200 for use of his whip prior to the 100 metres. In arriving at this penalty, Stewards took into account his poor record.
Race 5: Happy Valentine’s Day Class B Handicap 1517 METRES
No racing incidents.
