GABRIALA Declared a late scratching at 2:17pm when it was unable to be loaded. Prior to the declaration of correct Stewards ordered that all bets on the filly be refunded with the following deductions for successful bets to be 13 cents for the win and 16 cents for a place. Trainer was advised that a further barrier certificate would be require prior to its next race start.

DRAGON STREET Laid out under pressure from the 100m. Prior to the declaration of correct weight, the rider viewed the photo finish and was satisfied to the judgees placings.
 
GOLFING Inside the final 100 metres, shifted out and away and made contact with CHINA TOWN.
 
Race 4: St. Brendanns Yeppoon Old Boys Foundation Maiden Handicap 1400 metres
 
MAGIC WELL Bumped on jumping.
 
STORM UP Bumped on jumping. Rider reported that his mount hung out throughout.

Tightened between runners on jumping.

SIR TRUSTICE Jumped in onto HAYYLERRS FELL at the start.
 
HAYYLERRS FELL Bumped at the start. Raced wide without cover throughout.
 
NIGHTS ABLAZE When questioned regarding its performance, App. Q Krogh stated that weight imposed may have affected its performance and that he was instructed to ride the horse back and obtain a position to the outside in order to let his mount to run home. Further stated that his mount may not have been suited to the pace of the race and when placed under pressure it failed to respond to his riding. Trainer advised that he may freshen the horse up prior to its next start.
