RACE ON

BETTYS GOLD CLASS (4) fired out from gate 3 to set the speed last start and from the front was able to see them off with a narrow margin. Not that far away the start prior, she has claims.

FROZEN JEWEL (1) has been forced to roll the sleeves at her past two runs when sitting parked at Redcliffe. A winner three back from the trail, she can get that trip here to feature.

RACE FOUR

An open contest here with a number of live chances dependent on the tempo through the early and middle stages. BEACH ON FIRE (9) will be looking to follow through to secure position and last start was chasing the classy ZENA RHAYNE BOW. Runner up two starts back, he can arrive.

BRAEVIEW FELLA (4) was locked away on the poles here two starts back and when shaking free had the closing power to descend on them and claim a narrow victory. Too far back trying to chase against tempo last start, he can get handy to throw it down.

ROCKTIME (3) was trying to make ground wide out at Marburg last start after being faced with a second line gate. Strong to the line here two starts back behind RISK TAKER, he is in the mix.

HIGHLY RESPECTED (7) made an error from inside the second line last start that ended her chances. Using the passing lane two starts back when closing nicely, she can join in.

AURORA REASON (2) made the most of his opportunities last start when having his first Qld outing, firing off the arm from gate 5 to take control and once in front, held a 7m margin to score in good time. Tightened from that performance, he can look to step up here and repeat.

BELLA BRONSKI (4) has good speed out of the machine and last start from gate 4 was able to dart across and then take cover. Looking to make a closing raid and coming up 1m short of victory, it followed a midfield return in a Saturday night mares event. She can challenge here.

MAJORITA JUJON (5) found the ideal conditions here two starts back when descending on them to claim a 3m margin. Beaten by gate 7 last start, finding position cheaply will aid her cause.

KEAYANG TARA (9) will appreciate a return to mobile conditions after taking on the standing start last time out. Strong to the line when beaten a head here three starts back, she has claims.

MAJOR JELLIS (6) is back in Qld and lines up here for Ricky Thurlow after a 5m deficit last start at Bathurst behind SAINT VERAN. The wide gate stings but he is up to this.

After three impressive wins on The Triangle, BAZ (2) will be looking to transfer that to the big deck and extend the streak. Running some strong sectionals in each of those wins, he can look to get forward and despite this being a step up in grade, can look to chalk up another W.

SIR BRIGADOON (5) will appreciate a return to HQ after chasing behind MYDADSAID at Marburg last start in a track record performance. Hitting the line nicely here three starts back for the silver, positioning cheaply will assist his chances of issuing a challenge.

ARKIN WICKED (8) resumes from a spell after a last start victory at Redcliffe when dictating in front over the 2040 trip. A big winner three starts back, he can feature fresh.

ALTA EQUUS (10) held the pocket trail last start from gate 1 and with the economical trip was able to break free and rattle lates to take a 2 margin. He can be joining in here.

With some luckless performances, the past two efforts of COLLECT A DIME (3) have been faultless in claiming a pair of impressive victories. Forcing the issue from the breeze last start, he pulled clear to an impressive 11m margin. Pulling clear to post a 19m win two back, he can chase the threepeat.

FIAS CHARM (2) was eased from gate 7 in a mare’s event last start and sitting at the rear was hitting the line smartly in the closing stages when wide off he track behind the passing lane winner DANCE ADDITION. Back in the main draw, she can look to issue a challenge.
