Racing Queensland confirms that the race meeting scheduled for Sunday, March 31, at Sunshine Coast Turf Club has now been transferred to the venue’s Polytrack following a continuation of heavy rainfall in the area.
The movement of the meeting has necessitated some change to the program & accordingly the revised program is:
- Benchmark 65 Handicap - 1100 metres - $28,000;
- Benchmark 62 Handicap - 2000 metres - $28,000;
- Benchmark 58 Handicap - 1400 metres - $28,000;
- Benchmark 55 Handicap - 1000 metres - $28,000;
- Class 1 Handicap - 1600 metres - $28,000;
- Maiden Plate (Set Weights) - 1400 metres - $30,000;
- Maiden Plate (Set Weights) - 1000 metres - $30,000; and
- 2YO Maiden Plate (Set Weights) - 1100 metres - $30,000 + QTIS
Fresh nominations for the meeting have been called for and the following deadlines are now applicable:
- Nominations: Wednesday, March 27, at 2pm
- Weights: Wednesday, March 27, at 5pm
- Acceptances: Thursday, March 28, at midday
- Jockeys: Thursday, March 28, at 2pm
