RACE ONE

after two runs back from a spell where he has drawn the second line in each, KASH TIN (4) should appreciate a return to the front line. Making good metres in the closing stages last start when chasing COLLECT A DIME, he can get handy enough to capitalise.

HES SWEET (2) was a winner from the front here two starts back when forcing the issue from gate 3 to take control at the mile and see them off. In for the fight last start when runner-up to INFINITY BEACH after sitting parked, he has the gate to throw down the challenge.

RYLEE RHYANE BOW (6) was beaten by gate 7 here last week when forced to snag back and then make a closing raid but no match against the tempo. The wide gate stings again.

ROCK SUPREME (9) started from this gate last start and in the wash up was positioned deep in the pack before making late metres for the silver. He can track through early to feature again.

SELECTIONS: KASH TIN (4), HES SWEET (2), RYLEE RHYANE BOW (6), ROCK SUPREME (9)
SUGGESTED BET: KASH TIN (4) to win

RACE TWO

Chasing a hat-trick of victories, ROCKTAGONAL (9) will be looking to press through at the start to secure position. Darting home up the passing lane two starts back, he eased from gate 5 to find the running line before descending on them last week. The threepeat is on.

COMMODORE JUJON (2) was asked to sit parked last start and despite the tough trip was still fighting to the line in finishing midfield. Buried away the start prior, he can press ahead from this gate and look to throw it down.

KASH US BACK (11) eased from gate 7 here two starts back before charging home with power to be just a head form the winner AMAMI, strong to the line again last start, tempo will help.

EMMAS BOY (1) was taking his first look at the veteran’s grade last start when faced with gate 7 where he snagged to the rear. From the vastly improved gate, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: ROCKTAGONAL (9), COMMODORE JUJON (2), KASH US BACK (11), EMMAS BOY (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKTAGONAL (9) to win

RACE THREE

Undefeated in three Qld starts, AURORA REASON (3) will be out to continue the streak and comes up with the ideal gate. With brilliant early speed, he has been able to lead off the arm in all three starts and looks set to be lighting the lamps again here. He will take some catching.

SHEER ARTISTRY (7) was the beneficiary of a hot tempo last start where they went 26.7 off the arm. Saved for the closing shot, she descended on them and pulled clear late to post a 4m margin. Any tempo will be in her favour again despite the wide gate.

ATTACHMENT (4) was under 5m from the winner CHECKNOUTTHETALENT last start when having an early look for the front in an APG Heat. A winner two back, he can be thereabouts.

MASTER CHARLES (1) was chasing a hat-trick of victories last start when stepping out over the 2138 and finishing under 3m from the winner. Back to the mile is a big plus from this gate.

SELECTIONS: AURORA REASON (3), SHEER ARTISTRY (7), ATTACHMENT (4), MASTER CHARLES (1)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA REASON (3) to win

RACE FOUR

A tricky 2YO maiden with a mix of first starters and different form to weigh up. CAPTAIN BART (3) debuts for Victorian Gary Barton, a gelding by sire of the moment Captaintreacherous out of a half-sister to Blacks A Fake. A recent trial shows that he is up to a first up victory.

AIR BORN (4) has faced the starter on four occasions around Bathurst and heads North for Steve Turnbull. Chasing home the smart looking JUNGLE DRAGON last start, he contested the Gold Crown Series where they were a bit out of reach. He stays under notice.

NEED NOT TO WARRY (9) has placed in all three career starts, the latest when trying to make ground on FATE AWAITS. With the right trail, he can be making a closing raid once again.

SPORTY ZARA (1) is an Ohoka Punter filly on debut for Jack Butler that is the first foal of her three-win dam Zaras Dance. Her recent trial when under 1m rom CAPTAIN BART suggests from the gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN BART (3), AIR BORN (4), NEED NOT TO WARRY (9), SPORTY ZARA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAIN BART (3) to win

RACE FIVE

Part of the Barton travelling team, MUFASA BART (10) will be second up from a spell after resuming over the 1680 at Terang. Starting from the second line and sent out as the fav, he was settled back in the pack when down the line. Despite the second line, tempo looks right.

MAYWYN BONTON BOY (2) scored a smart win first up in Qld when ripping home a slick closing panel around Redcliffe. Fired off the arm here last start, the sub 27 expense for the leading rights proved too costly, fading in the closing stages. He has the gate to make them chase.

CYCLONE TONY (9) pressed on from outside the front-line last start and was able to see them off with a 6m margin to spare. Chasing from back in the pack last start for 3rd, he can chime in.

REASON TO SHINE (7) was first up from a spell last start to kick off her 3YO term when descending on them in the closing stages to score. Added fitness will help from another wide gate.

SELECTIONS: MUFASA BART (10), MAYWYN BONTON BOY (2), CYCLONE TONY (9), REASON TO SHINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MUFASA BART (10) to win

RACE SIX

Positioned in the 1x1 trail last start and securing the ideal trip, BURKHARDT (11) had the closing power to claim a 6m margin on the wire. A gritty effort when parked and finishing with the silver two starts back, he finds the right conditions to chase a repeat victory.

BUN IN THE OVEN (4) eased for position after a safe getaway here last week and when angled into space, had the speed to arrive for a 1m margin. Staying off the front is a big plus and if she can step cleanly once again, can have herself in the position to issue a challenge.

FENOMENAL (13) was winner from the 30m three starts back when circling them and holding a 4m margin. Striking trouble at his next start, he was strong late last start and can join in here.

HAMMER SON (7) moves forward to the 10m tape which should be in his favour, allowing him to settle closer. Runner-up here two starts back, he cannot be overlooked.

SELECTIONS: BURKHARDT (11), BUN IN THE OVEN (4), FENOMENAL (13), HAMMER SON (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

Missing the money just once in nine attempts here at HQ, KODA DA MODA (8) started from 20m under the conditions last start when finishing 7m astern of the winner BURKHARDT. Trying to make a closing challenge when 3rd to AGENT BLACK two back, this looks within reach.

GETOVERROVER (6) lost the driver at the start two runs back which ended his chances before they started. Making an error last time out, when he trots cleanly, he is up to a race like this and from the 20m, is up to the challenge.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (9) was banished to the trials last start following an error. With two trials completed to earn the return, he can trot when he puts it together, he has just been a hard follow this campaign.

JAY ROWE (5) has had a reasonably eventful time in her past four starts, the latest when losing the driver at the start. In an open trot, a safe start can have her ready to chime in.

SELECTIONS: KODA DA MODA (8), GETOVERROVER (6), TOP OF THE MOMENT (9), JAY ROWE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: KODA DA MODA (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

Needing some factors in her favour from this alley, VANISH HANOVER (8) will be tucked away and awaiting the opening. Finding them a little too slippery last start she follows what looks the likely leader and if she has some momentum on the swing, finds the chance to cash in.

TROUPER JUJON (9) was involved in a sub 27 opening attack last start which left him out of petrol in the closing stages. A brace effort in the Goldstrike Final at Marburg the start prior, he will have running line cover and be looking to challenge late.

SKYRO DREAMZ (4) is still a maiden tackling some far more experienced campaigners. Runner-up in all three starts this prep, he can look to grab some minor money again here.

SHESA POCKETROCKET (3) was exposed early before receiving cover last start and then was strong to the line when under 2m from the winner. She can be in the mix again here.

SELECTIONS: VANISH HANOVER (8), TROUPER JUJON (9), SKYRO DREAMZ (4), SHESA POCKETROCKET (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
