RACE TWO

MERGE RIGHT (9)
is a 2YO taking on the older horses that has a tidy record of 1 win and 5 minors in 8 outings for the season. Best of the rest behind the progressive looking ALTA REVELRY last start, she opened the account here 2 runs back with a tough effort after sitting parked and can repeat the win.

OLD ENGLISH (7) started from gate 9 last time out and did not receive the smoothest passage when down the line as DATALDO romped away with it. Runner-up his previous 3 in succession including a half-neck margin after leading from gate 5, this is a tricky gate, but he can challenge if the gaps arrive.

IM A CLASSY GIRL (3) fired out from gate 2 last start to set the speed and after running even panels in front was grabbed in the closing stages to hold on for the silver. From the gate she can feature.

MULLUM DOC (6) tackles the older horses once again like his debut here last week when sent out as the favourite. Striking trouble early that proved costly, he can search for redemption.

SELECTIONS: MERGE RIGHT (9), OLD ENGLISH (7), IM A CLASSY GIRL (3), MULLUM DOC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MERGE RIGHT (9) to win

RACE THREE

TURN TURN FLYER (5)
has the sticky gate to negotiate but brings solid form to the contest including a last start victory. Settled back in the pack, he made a strong closing challenge when wide to arrive for a smart win in a new career benchmark. With even luck in the run, he can arrive once again.

JOHNROD (3) was a Marburg winner 3 starts back when starting from the 2nd line and wide off the track for a long way. Placed in both runs since that victory, he was asked to do it the tough way when parked last start and was game in defeat when 5m away and can throw it down again.

LUCINDA JAMAR (2) started from gate 2 over the AP mile last start and was obliged to do some early work before fading over the latter stages. Placed in 3 of 5 here at Redcliffe, the gate helps.

NEVAEVABEND (7) will require a slice of luck at some stage from this gate but has worked into form with a top-3 at 4 of her past 5 outings. Finishing best to score here 2 starts back, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: TURN TURN FLYER (5), JOHNROD (3), LUCINDA JAMAR (2), NEVAEVABEND (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

LITTLEDEE (8)
started from the 2nd line last time out at Marburg and making a sustained run wide off the track proved too strong in claiming victory. Midfield behind subsequent winner IM LOKI 2 starts back, she was just an eyelash from the prize here 3 starts back and can arrive once again in this.

LORD DENZEL (1) has hit the board at his past 3 on the bounce, the latest when closing out in nice order at Marburg after being buried in the run. Just 3m in arrears of the winner here 2 starts back after staring from inside the 2nd line, he lands the options from this gate to make a challenge.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3) was snookered last start from inside the 2nd line at Marburg and never got a shot at them. Fading the closing stages after working hard here 2 starts back, he has podium claims.

DATSINAHURRI (6) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories here last start when making an error that ended her chances. Both wins came when leading throughout and with better manners can feature.

SELECTIONS: LITTLEDEE (8), LORD DENZEL (1), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (3), DATSINAHURRI (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLEDEE (8) to win

RACE FIVE

MISTER DECORUM (5) started from gate 4 over the AP mile last start and pressing on to take control was then able to fight them off. Scoring a comfortable 5m victory in a new benchmark, he comes up with the tricky alley but is going well enough to look for back-to-back victories.

LITTLE ARROWS (3) was first up for the new stable here 2 starts back when doing some early work and fighting on gamely to be 8m from subsequent winner RISKY BUZINESS. Finding the pocket trail from gate 4 last start before finishing best to claim a new career PB, she has the early speed to challenge.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1) will resume from a spell without a public trial as she searches for a hat-trick of victories. Taking them all the way last start over the AP mile, she has the gate to feature.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2) was obliged to do it the tough way here last start and was in for the fight when holding 3rd. Too gritty in claiming the prize here 2 starts back, he will be fighting.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DECORUM (5), LITTLE ARROWS (3), NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-5

RACE SIX

FEEL THE THRILL (7)
has landed this same gate at 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when shuffled out towards the rear. A tidy effort under the circumstances, he held the pocket trail 2 starts back when grabbing the silver behind WOODLANDS WONDER and will be stalking the speed, ready to strike.

BARBOO (9) was not suited here last start when sent forward to sit outside the leader from gate 4, fading over the closing stages as ALLSTAR SEA claimed the victory. A winner here 3 starts back when saved for one run, similar tactics will give him a challenging chance from the tricky gate.

NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1) looked to have found his chance to bring the rain and end the win drought last start but had to settle for the silver. He will again be trying to fight them off.

JACKEROO SHANNON (3) started from the ace last start and was soon buried in the run as the smart 2YO AWAYWEGO took control. Taking his first look at The Triangle, he can round them up.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE THRILL (7), BARBOO (9), NOLONGA YOUR CHOICE (1), JACKEROO SHANNON (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE THRILL (7) to win

RACE SEVEN

HALF MOON BEACH (1)
has worked his way into some form, having hit the board at 4 of his past 5 appearances. Wide off the track from the 2nd line last start when grabbing the silver at Marburg, it followed a late closing head margin here 2 starts back. The improved gate is a huge bonus.

SWEET LOMBO (5) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest from this same alley when easing off the arm to secure position before closing out strongly in the latter stages. The gate stings, but he will be working into the battle to issue the challenge.

MONTANA EXPRESS (7) started from gate 5 over the AP mile last start when trying to pick off some closing metres and just 2m from the winner. With the cosy trip he will be probing for openings.

TINGE OF FEAR (3) was eased off the pegs early last start to sit parked and was fighting hard when 4m in arrears of the winner. Buried away the start prior, she may need to roll the sleeves here.

SELECTIONS: HALF MOON BEACH (1), SWEET LOMBO (5), MONTANA EXPRESS (7), TINGE OF FEAR (3)
SUGGESTED BET: HALF MOON BEACH (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

SNUGGLES BANYULA (1)
was a winner here 5 starts back when leading throughout, running a smart closing 800m section. Just a neck away at her next start, she has tackled mare’s qualifiers at her past 2 outings and with a return to Redcliffe from the good alley can look to bounce back.

BRILLIANT ART (2) has been returning some handy efforts in Saturday night grade that have not secured any return for the effort. Doing her share of work last start when holding 4th behind SPIRITED BELLE, she can settle close to the action from this gate to throw down the challenge.

IN THE PAPER (9) was an eyelash short of victory here 3 starts back and franked the run with a slick win when putting them away in nice fashion at his next start. The gate hurts.

PEBBLE SANDS (8) fired out from gate 1 here last start when looking to lead throughout but was collared up the passing lane by BANGKOK BRAVADO. From the gate he is a place chance.

SELECTIONS: SNUGGLES BANYULA (1), BRILLIANT ART (2), IN THE PAPER (9), PEBBLE SANDS (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (8)
will take just his 2nd look at The Triangle and comes into this battle after a run of wide gates. Eased from gate 7 last start before making some closing ground to finish midfield, if he can secure the right tempo in transit, he can arrive for the prize.

LORIMER LADY (4) was making a late raid wide off the track here last start when picking off ground and grabbing the silver behind the smart winner FAIRIESDELIGHT. 4 starts back she took them all the way from this same alley to claim a tidy victory and with even luck can challenge once again.

BETTATHANIDEAL (5) eased from gate 5 in a qualifier at headquarters last start and from deep in the pack against the poles closed out in nice order. The gate stings but he can be chiming in.

BARKWAY ARNOLD (6) started from the 2nd line last start over the AP mile and after easing to find the pegs, hit the line in nice fashion to be just 4m in arrears. With even luck he can be making a play.

SELECTIONS: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (8), LORIMER LADY (4), BETTATHANIDEAL (5), BARKWAY ARNOLD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (8) to win

RACE TEN

BEAST MODE (1)
took the pocket trail from the ace last start in a qualifier when trying to make the closing raid up the passing lane. Finishing 2m in arrears of the winner FIRST STRING, he again finds the right alley to have the options in the run and arrive for the prize.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (9) took on the Members Cup last start from the 2nd line when angled to the pegs and hoping to get some luck in transit. Searching for runs, he was strong to the line and just 5m in arrears of the winner CAPTAINS PICK. Attacking the line with power the start prior, he will be swooping.

FORTYEIGHTHENSON (2) returns to Qld, this time with his trainer Darren McCall. Striking trouble last start back in October, he comes into this fresh with the right gate to feature.

ELMS CREEK (3) will be third up since re-joining Ron Sallis and should appreciate a tighter gate here after facing the six-hole in both runs back in Qld. A nine-time winner here, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BEAST MODE (1), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (9), FORTYEIGHTHENSON (2), ELMS CREEK (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BEAST MODE (1) to win

RACE ELEVEN

RINGOS A STAR (5)
has no favours from the wide gate but returns to the Peninsula after some smart efforts at headquarters that have not yielded a return for the effort. Beaten by gate 7 last start yet still within 5m of the winner, he was 2nd to subsequent winner SPIRITED BELLE 2 starts back. With a smart record on this track, he can arrive.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (4) was sent forward off the arm last start and was wide pressing forward to sit parked. Throwing it down in the run, she was able to graft out a smart win with a half-neck to spare. Runner-up 2 starts back, she can get forward to put herself in position to challenge.

MOLLIESMARYELLE (9) secured the perfect run in behind the speed here last start and when the passing lane presented owned the best close out speed to arrive. The gate is a dampener, but she can chime in.

OLIVER WINKLE (3) was a winner here 4 starts back when finding the conditions to pounce on the lead and take them all the way. Grabbing the bronze at his past 2 starts, he has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: RINGOS A STAR (5), MAFFIOSO GIRL (4), MOLLIESMARYELLE (9), OLIVER WINKLE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: RINGOS A STAR (5) to win
