RACE TWO

INDY JEWEL (9)
should find this easier than her last assignment when holding on for the bronze behind TIMS A TROOPER. That was her first outing this season after breaking the maiden tag at her last appearance back in December. Despite the tricky alley, she can finish over the top.

ELLA UNDER FIRE (2) did some early work to get forward to find position here two starts back and was strong to the line for the bronze behind MERIBEL. Franking that effort last week when pouncing on the lead from gate 4, she was never in danger thereafter. From the alley she can challenge.

IM ROWDY (7) only has the 4 career starts to his name which included a debut win at Newcastle which came back in July of 2020. With just one start last campaign when fading over the mile, he comes into this off a tidy trial and will be searching for open road to issue a challenge.

ROCK WITH ZARA (1) ended her 3YO season with an all the way win here back in November when able to walk them in the early stages. Fitter from two runs back, she has the gate to feature.

SELECTIONS: INDY JEWEL (9), ELLA UNDER FIRE (2), IM ROWDY (7), ROCK WITH ZARA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: INDY JEWEL (9) to win

RACE THREE

DARBY BRIGHTS (8)
was a winner here four starts back when locked away on the poles and sprinting hard when the gaps opened to claim the win. Placed in tow runs since that win, she was strong to the line last start for the bronze after starting from gate 6 and looks to have found a winnable race.

MOLLIDOR (3) was a winner from this gate three starts back when sent straight to the front and once in control was able to fight them off. A beaten fav at her next appearance when trying to lead throughout, she was stung by gate 5 last time. Firing the early bullets, she can make a challenge.

JOHNROD (4) added another minor to the tally last start to make it four in succession after a gritty effort to be 2m in arrears after sitting parked. He can grind it out again here to feature.

FREMARKSINDI (9) was trying to make a closing raid last start when chasing home behind VERMONT. Likely to be back in the pack, she will be trying to wind up again to chime in.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (8), MOLLIDOR (3), JOHNROD (4), FREMARKSINDI (9)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (8) to win

RACE FOUR

PATCHWORK JET (3)
started from gate 4 last time out and slid across early to find running line cover. With a steady pace set from the front, he had the closing power to arrive and claim victory by a head. That was a reward for placings hie previous three in succession and he can go again here.

DATSINAHURRI (9) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when sent to the post in red figures but was struck down with an affliction that saw her trail the field home. Returning here after remedying the complaint, six of her seven wins have been here on her home deck, and she can bounce back.

CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1) settled in the 1x1 trail last start but could no go on with it in the latter stages. 9m from TURN TURN FLYER two starts back, she has the gate to chime into the minors.

REGRETABLE (7) has started from the second line at her past four in succession and although off the back again, can be tucked away on the poles here ready to make a closing play.

SELECTIONS: PATCHWORK JET (3), DATSINAHURRI (9), CHAMPAGNE REACTOR (1), REGRETABLE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: PATCHWORK JET (3) to win

RACE FIVE

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1) eased from gate 4 to find the running line last time out before angling back to the inside to grab the silver when 2m from the winner JACKEROO SHANNON. Back in the pack when trying to pick off late ground the start prior, he lands the options to capitalise in this contest.

TIMENPATIENCE (3) will take good benefit from her last appearance when returning following a freshen. Unable to snare early position, she was forced to retreat and was soon at the rear of the pack. Only beaten a head over the AP mile three starts back, she can make a challenge in this.

AUNTY FRANCES (8) settled back in the pack from gate 9 last start over the 2040m trip when finishing midfield behind LEANDER. Placed in three of her previous four, she has podium claims again.

MELTON INSULTED (2) was runner-up here two starts back when trying to take them all the way but collared near the wire by GO AWAY. Gate 9 was her undoing last time with better chances here.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1), TIMENPATIENCE (3), AUNTY FRANCES (8), MELTON INSULTED (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1) to win

RACE SIX

MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1)
completed a hat-trick of victories last start when finishing over the top of them from the second line and claiming a narrow half-head margin. Taking them all the way here three starts back with a smart last 800m in front, he has the alley to go in search of the quartet.

ILLBEWATCHING (5) gets back to The Triangle where he is an eight-time winner after recent starts at headquarters. The latest of those was a nice close out when grabbing 2nd behind GOLDEN SAND over the 2138m and just 2m in arrears. Despite the sticky alley he can throw it down.
MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (7) tackled the AP mile last start when locked away on the poles and making late ground in a strong last half to grab the bronze. With another economical trip he can feature.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9) started from inside the second line last start and never saw open road. Finding space the start prior to charge home for the prize, he can be searching for gaps here.

SELECTIONS: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1), ILLBEWATCHING (5), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (7), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

STUDLEIGH WILL (2)
was runner-up here four runs back when pressing on to it parked and finishing best of the chasers behind MAYWYN A JUG ORTWO. Franking that effort with successive wins, he was game from the second line when a 3m 3rd last start. The front line can see him capitalise.

WHATELEY (5) settled back in the pack from gate 10 over the AP mile last start when making some late ground when 7m from the winner. Chasing the in-form RING THE TILL the start prior, his past two visits to Redcliffe have returned wins and he can make a challenge despite a tricky alley.

BATTLECRAFT (7) settled in the 1x1 trail at The Creek last start when making some late metres to be 5m from the winner. Runner-up in three successive starts prior, he will be probing for openings.

BETTING BARON (1) was beaten by gate 6 here last start when easing to secure position when down the line behind ALTANA BLUE. Runner-up in successive starts prior, the improved gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH WILL (2), WHATELEY (5), BATTLECRAFT (7), BETTING BARON (1)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH WILL (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

SPEED OF SOUND (7)
had too much closing power for her rivals here last start to take her record to a healthy five wins in eight appearances here on The Triangle. Finishing over the top of them from the 1x1 trail two starts back, she can overcome the wide gate to complete the threepeat.

ARNOLD STREET (1) should appreciate the improved alley and the added fitness that he should glean from his last start where he returned from a freshen. Midfield when 8m and chasing behind SPEED OF SOUND after starting from gate 5, he comes up with the options to make a play.

ROCKNROLL DUDE (9) started from inside the second line last start and was soon buried in the run as SMOOTH CASH scored a commanding win. Runner-up here two starts back, he is a podium player.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (7) will be requiring some factors in his favour from this alley as he is in danger of being hemmed away. Midfield to BARKWAY ARNOLD in a qualifier last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: SPEED OF SOUND (7), ARNOLD STREET (1), ROCKNROLL DUDE (9), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEED OF SOUND (7) to win

RACE NINE

SMOOTH CASH (5)
has been in nice touch with a top-two at his past four in succession that have included a pair of victories. Sent around them in the early stages from the second line last start, he pressed on to take control and was never in danger thereafter. He can look for a repeat effort.

BLAZE COOPS (6) was sent forward to lead the three-wide train last start but could not eat into the deficit as BONZA GUY took the prize. Finishing best to claim victory from gate 8 here two starts back, she is given no favours from the outside gate here but can be looking to challenge.

BONNIES CAM (4) will take benefit from his last outing where he was first up in over five weeks. Using the passing lane to grab the bronze when 9m away, he is a podium chance once again.

OLIVER WINKLE (2) eased from gate 4 over the AP mile last start to position on the poles and then could not get warm in the closing stages. A winner at two of his previous three, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SMOOTH CASH (5), BLAZE COOPS (6), BONNIES CAM (4), OLIVER WINKLE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SMOOTH CASH (5) to win

RACE TEN

A GOOD IDEAL (1)
has proven enigmatic and has gone under as the race favourite in four of his past five starts. 3m from the winner when deep into the sauce last start, he was able to take them all the way here two starts back at even money. He has the gate to dictate, but his record makes it hard to dive in with any confidence.

JANG PEL (3) sat in the pocket trail last start from inside the second line when out late to chase for the silver behind VERMONT. Grabbing 3rd, the start prior when setting the tempo, he can be close enough to the action to make a challenge.

PACIFIC COIN (9) does not have the greatest numbers in recent outings and was snagged to the pegs from this gate last start. Despite another tough alley, he might just find the right set up to chime in.

VERMONT (2) settled in the running line from gate 2 last start and owing the best speed in the closing stages arrived for a handy win. A similar trip can see her chime in once again.

SELECTIONS: A GOOD IDEAL (1), JANG PEL (3), PACIFIC COIN (9), VERMONT (2)
SUGGESTED BET:
