RACE TWO

Starting from gate 6 last start in a mares only event, SWEET JEMMA (1) was able to land in the 1x1 trail. Making a closing rally, she was attacking the line in the closing stages to get within a half-head of the winner. Fresh up in that event, she will strip fitter and with early hustle can look to dictate.

SHES KOALA TEE (8) was absolutely knocking on the door after finishing as the runner-up in 3 consecutive starts that included beaten margins of a half-neck and a neck. With the perfect trip here on Tuesday, she cashed in with an effortless 5m victory. Stalking the speed here, she will be poised.

GIRL FROM OZ (9) makes her first Qld appearance, arriving for Darren McCall with 3 wins at her past 4 starts. Leading throughout at Newcastle last start in sharp time, she can be chiming in here.

AMERICAN FLYER (10) made an immediate impact in Qld with an all the way win at her first attempt since heading North. Locked away on the poles last start, she can look to work into this contest.

SELECTIONS: SWEET JEMMA (1), SHES KOALA TEE (8), GIRL FROM OZ (9), AMERICAN FLYER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET JEMMA (1) to win

RACE THREE

With a 50% winning strike rate here at The Creek, which could be higher if factors went more in his favour, DEUS EX (3) finds the gate to add another win to the tally here. Losing all his momentum behind a wilting leader last start before grabbing 3rd, he can take control of his own destiny here.

MISTERFREEZE (8) eased from gate 6 over this trip 2 starts back to find the poles before closing out in nice style for the silver behind SCARLET BABE. Making the most of a good trip last start, he had the speed to arrive in the closing stages over the mile and with options can challenge again here.

NURBURGRING (1) should secure an easy trip from this alley in readiness to make a closing play. Hitting the line in good order last start when 3rd to MISTERFREEZE, with added fitness he can feature.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (2) bounced back to winning form here on Tuesday when powering over the top of them from gate 10 to claim the prize. Settling closer from this alley can see him in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DEUS EX (3), MISTERFREEZE (8), NURBURGRING (1), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi Trifecta 3 / 1-2-8

RACE FOUR

THE GENERAL (5)
started from gate 7 last time out when easing in the early stages before trying to make a closing raid. Charging home the start prior to grab the bronze, he will be reliant on some tempo to be winding up late and might just be able to sneak over the top of them in an open affair.

LOVE YOUR WORK (1) will appreciate a big reversal in barriers after being slammed with some wide gates in recent outings. Snagging back from gate 6 last start as HEMSWORTH ripped home to score, it followed a buried run as MANILA PLAYBOY claimed a stylish victory. The gate is a huge asset here.

LE TISSIER (6) has 4 wins here at The Creek with each of those coming over the 2138m trip. At the mile here from the wide gate, he will be tightened from his last outing and has claims.

SOHO SINATRA (3) found the front from this same gate last start and was trying to fight them off when holding on for the bronze. Luckless the start prior behind FIRST STRING, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: THE GENERAL (5), LOVE YOUR WORK (1), LE TISSIER (6), SOHO SINATRA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: THE GENERAL (5) to win

RACE FIVE

A beaten favourite here 3 starts back at the mile, BELLA BALL TERROR (6) came up 3m short as PHILANDERING CHEF was able to hold off the chasers. Game in a sizzling last 800m 2 starts back when parked, he capitalised last start with a smart win. The trip is the query, but he is going well enough to claim the prize.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8) comes up with the 2nd line options here and is crying out to win one of these qualifiers. A model of consistency in recent times, he has hit the board in 9 of his past 12 starts, the latest when flashing late for the silver behind GLENLEDI BOY. He can throw it down here.

THE HERVEY BAY (4) will take good benefit from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell without a public trial. Making a closing dive in the stretch to be just a neck away, he is right in this.

THE IDEAL DANCER (1) was critically hampered by a tiring leader last start that carted him out of contention. He looks set to be crossed but if the lane arrives with momentum, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: BELLA BALL TERROR (6), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (8), THE HERVEY BAY (4), THE IDEAL DANCER (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Fighting all the way to the wire last start at Redcliffe after an early move from the second line, SQUIRE (3) went down swinging, making L L COOL J earn his victory in the Christmas feature. With a strong last 800m section, he can again look to settle close to the action and back to this grade looks hard to hold out.

SAM IS PERFECTION (7) tackled the Christmas Cup from The triangle last start where he eased from gate 5 to secure position in the running line. Sound over the closing stages to finish midfield as L L COOL J proved superior, it followed a tidy effort behind SCARLET BABE. A return to the veteran’s grade looks ideal.

FRANCO HAMPTON (5) was a winner over this trip in this grade 2 starts back to land his first win over the middle trip, finishing over the top to claim a smart win. Beaten by gate 7 over the mile last start but far from disgraced, the small field suits.

SELECTIONS: SQUIRE (3), SAM IS PERFECTION (7), FRANCO HAMPTON (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SQUIRE (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

A beaten favourite at each of her past 2 starts, SPEED OF SOUND (8) comes up woth the 2nd line options but does follow out a good beginner with not much pressure looking apparent to the outside. Diving up the lane for the silver behind SHES KOALA TEE here on Tuesday, she can look to make the closing shot a winning one here.

BUTCHERFEELGOOD (7) eased from this alley last start to settle at the rear of the pack. Making a strong closing challenge, she was able to grab the silver behind the in-form GOALKICKER. Shooting for a hat-trick of wins in that contest, she will rely on some tempo but will be rattling home.

DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1) backs up from Wednesday night where she started from the pole and darted through to hold the front. Fighting them off to score, this is not much tougher and she has the gate to feature.

CALL ME TRISH (3) was sent to the post as the fav here last start from inside the 2nd line and was soon angled into the running line, finishing hard to be just a half-neck shy of the prize. From the improved gate she is in calculations.

SELECTIONS: SPEED OF SOUND (8), BUTCHERFEELGOOD (7), DOOLITTLE DOOZZIE (1), CALL ME TRISH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SPEED OF SOUND (8) to win

RACE NINE

It may be a small field for this FFA tucked away at the end of the night, but this race is a tricky little contest. Bouncing back with a victory in the Christmas Cup last start, TURN IT UP (6) was aided by a complete lack of early pressure over the 2680m which set it up for a last panel assault where he ripped home in 26.1 to score. Electric out of the machine, can he see it out?

IDEAL WORLD (2) can fly the arm and did that from gate 3 here 3 starts back when taking them all the way over the 2138m. That race has proven a strong form reference with 5 other subsequent winners in the beaten brigade. Not far away last start in the Christmas Cup behind TURN IT UP, this looks his chance to step up to open company and throw it down to his opponents.

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (3) was a winner over the mile here 3 starts back when taking control early in a sub 27 opener and finishing it off with a sub 27 close out to lay out a new PB in 1.51.5. Runner-up at his next start, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: TURN IT UP (6), IDEAL WORLD (2)¸ NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TURN IT UP / IDEAL WORLD (2/6) Quinella
