RACE ONE

GELDOF (1) was a winner over this trip three starts back when rolling forward and content to race first over proved too strong in grafting out the victory. Beaten over the AP mile at his past two, he finds the inside alley to burrow through and look to take them all the way.

MIGHTY GEORGE (7) eased from gate 5 into the running line at this trip three starts back and then owned superior closing speed to sweep up and claim a 2m margin. Buried away from inside the second line last start and chasing the in-form THERESACHANCE, he can stalk the speed here.

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5) was a winner here six starts back when powering over the top of them in the closing stages from gate 5 at the 2040m. Placed in all five since, he can feature once again.

MISSINMEMATE (2) has been hitting some nice areas with 3 wins from his past 5 attempts, the latest when taking them all the way at The Creek from the ace. He is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: GELDOF (1), MIGHTY GEORGE (7), BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (5), MISSINMEMATE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GELDOF (1) to win

RACE TWO

VOODOO FELLA (9) has been facing some tough gates in recent starts, the past two when off the back line around the tight Marburg circuit. Finding the right trip to overcome that impediment two starts back, he was closing strongly for the silver last start and can be working into this to arrive.

ITS SUPER EASY (5) started from inside the second line last time out over the mile at headquarters and with the perfect trip, made the most of his chance to dart past in claiming a 2m victory. Beaten by the tempo here two starts back when easing from this gate, he can press on to make a play.

ZACHAROONI (2) is 1 from 1 here on The Triangle, that win coming when breaking the maiden here last year. With just three starts since that win, he will be tightened from two runs back.

ROYAL PRINCESS (3) settled in the 1x1 trail last time out and was trying to launch a closing raid when finishing 9m in arrears of MISSINMEMATE. Settling handy to the speed will help her chances.

SELECTIONS: VOODOO FELLA (9), ITS SUPER EASY (5), ZACHAROONI (2), ROYAL PRINCESS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: VOODOO FELLA (9) to win

RACE THREE

SUZUKEE (1)
tackled a Trot Rods scamper last start and was back in the pack before powering up the stretch to claim a smart win. Asked to grind it out when parked the start prior as RAANI dictated, three starts back she was just a half-head away. From the gate at this trip, she can strike.

CANDYKANE (7) took on the Breeders Classic last start where from gate 1 she was just 5m in arrears of the winner RACY ROXY. Taking them all the way here two starts back, she may need a slice of luck as she looks in danger of being buried but can be searching for the gaps to challenge.

IMA BEACH BABE (4) settled int the 1x1 trail at Marburg last start and was trying to hard as ALTANA BLUE scored in strong time with the power on throughout. Tucking in here, she has podium claims.

ONYA DOUG (5) is a three-time winner here at The Peninsula and should appreciate a drop in grade from what he has been meeting this time in. Well beaten his past three, he can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: SUZUKEE (1), CANDYKANE (7), IMA BEACH BABE (4), ONYA DOUG (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SUZUKEE (1) to win

RACE FOUR

The first of two heats for the 3YO Sales Graduates where TEDDY DISCO (1) will go in search of the 2/3 double. Resuming with a slick win, not much has been in his favour in the two runs since when chasing SPEAK THE TRUTH and then DANGERZONE. 4 from 4 on The Triangle, he has the gate to dominate.

BORSELLINO (7) was too strong to claim the boys 3YO Breeders Consolation two starts back when sitting parked over the 2138m and grafting out a 2m margin. Eased from the centre of the line last time at the mile and then not getting warm, he should enjoy the easy trip here to make a late play.

SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8) fired out form gate 4 last time out over the AP mile and took them all the way in a new PB winning rate. Yet to hit the board in 4 attempts at the middle trip, the pegs appeal here.

R ELEVEN ART (3) has tackled the Trot Rods 947m at his past two starts, returning a sharp passing lane win and then a 3m margin in arrears. This will be his first look at the middle trip.

SELECTIONS: TEDDY DISCO (1), BORSELLINO (7), SHEZ NOTORIOUS (8), R ELEVEN ART (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1 / 7 / 3-4-8

RACE FIVE

TEACHERS PET (1) is a mare squarely in the zone at present with wins at her past 4 in succession and at 7 of her past 8. Taking them all the way last start in a Trot Rods scamper, she released from this gate two starts back before charging over the top to a big win. With the versatility the quintet is within reach.

MOTU CULLEN (9) was sent forward from a wide gate at Marburg last start and despite the tough trip was far too strong, pulling clear to claim a 10m margin. Finding the front from gate 4 to take them all the way here three starts back, he is up to the challenge of the second line.

CHAL BE (7) was sent forward from gate 5 here two starts back and after being asked to work hard in the run, fought on to hold 3rd. 6m from HEADWIN in a Trot Rods heat last start, he will be probing.

HARLEY BLUE (8) is still searching for a 3YO victory, having placed in 4 of her 9 starts for the term. With her recent form at HQ, she gets back to The Triangle and can search for short cuts to chime in.

SELECTIONS: TEACHERS PET (1), MOTU CULLEN (9), CHAL BE (7), HARLEY BLUE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TEACHERS PET (1) to win

RACE SIX

The second heat of the 3YO series where the talented BANGKOK DEEJAY (1) will be taking his first look at this deck. Sent forward from gate 5 over the AP mile last start, he sat parked but pulled clear to a dominant victory in a new PB. With three runs back from a break, he can flex his muscle here.

BEJIGGITY (7) was just 4m from RACY ROXY in the Breeders Classic Final two starts back with her two runs either side of that when placed against the older mare’s in qualifying company. 7m from subsequent winner BAKER CREEK last start, she will get the ideal trip to issue a challenge.

ALWAYSBME (3) has been ticking over nicely this campaign, hitting the board in 7 of her 9 starts which has included a pair of wins. Runner-up to RACY ROXY last start in the Breeders Classic, she is up for the fight.

ROSES ARE SWEET (5) has not been seen since January when scoring an all the way win over the 2040m when allowed to walk them. The gate doe her no favours fresh.

SELECTIONS: BANGKOK DEEJAY (1), BEJIGGITY (7), ALWAYSBME (3), ROSES ARE SWEET (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BANGKOK DEEJAY / BEJIGGITY (1/7) quinella / exacta

RACE SEVEN

DINOSAURUS REX (3)
sat in behind the leader here three starts back and with the ideal trip made the closing shot a winner up the passing lane. Taken to Marburg last start, he was trying to make a closing play when finishing a half-neck from CHASIN DREAMZ. He can turn the tables with the gate advantage.

CHASIN DREAMZ (8) was a winner here six starts back, and then was runner-up at her next three in succession behind her flying stable mate SCHOOBY. Another 2nd followed before cashing-in last start at Marburg with a tough victory. Despite the second line, she will throw it down once again.

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5) has faced a second line gate at his past three in succession, the latest when making some closing metres for 3rd behind CHASIN DREAMZ and he can be thereabouts once again.

TULHURST CUDDLES (2) makes her first appearance in Qld for Dave McKenzie, arriving with a solitary victory. With early hustle, she is a podium hope first up.

SELECTIONS: DINOSAURUS REX (3), CHASIN DREAMZ (8), DOWNTOWN LUCCA (5), TULHURST CUDDLES (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DINOSAURUS REX (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

DANCING WITH MY EX (4) was forced to retreat when unable to secure position over the AP mile last start before finding the line in nice order as BETTER SHUSH arrived for the prize. His run two back behind BORSELLINO had merit and despite a poor record at the middle trip, can capitalise.

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1) started from the second line at Marburg last start when trying to make ground wide off the track but unable to eat into the deficit. A Trot Rods heat winner here two starts back, he can get the right type of trip and with two wins over this distance, can issue a challenge.

LEFT IN THE WIND (7) was runner-up over the AP mile two starts back when sent forward to sit parked from gate 6. Buried away last time, she will likely be buried again here and probing for gaps.

POM PAY (5) was a winner here four starts back at her first outing on this deck. Not much has gone in her favour since that win and despite another tough gate, she can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: DANCING WITH MY EX (4), JUST ONE GOOD ONE (1), LEFT IN THE WIND (7), POM PAY (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

BONNIES DANCE (4)
was on debut last time out over the AP mile and was tackling far more experienced campaigners. Closing out in nice style to grab the bronze behind MAYWYN TROUBADOR, there was a bit to like about the effort. Back to maiden company, she looms large.

BLUE BLOODZ (7) was returning from close to 12-months off the scene here last time out when securing the 1x1 trail from the second line but unable to chase down the big winner GRIGORA. The inside second line makes it tricky, but he can work into the clear to make a challenge.

TONYS SECRET (8) tried to take them all the way at her first Qld outing which was also her first start in over two years. Holding on for 3rd, she was midfield last start and has podium claims again.

THE WHISTLER (2) was hemmed away on the poles from gate 4 last start after not receiving the best start. Buried from inside the second line the start prior, she can be close enough to fill a minor.

SELECTIONS: BONNIES DANCE (4), BLUE BLOODZ (7), TONYS SECRET (8), THE WHISTLER (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES DANCE (4) to win

RACE TEN

TARDELLI (6)
takes his first step towards the Garrards Sales Series with his first Qld race appearance. Arriving a four-time winner, the latest when securing the G1 Bathurst Gold Crown, he laid out a smart trial at Albion Park in preparation and looks to have the class to continue on his winning way.

MULLUM AXEL (5) made full use of gate 1 in the QBRED Breeders Classic two starts back, holding them wide and then taking them all the way. Holding on for the bronze last start behind HAVEYOUCHECKEDIN, the gate stings but he is up to issuing some form of challenge.

REGAZZO DI TILLY (8) was sent forward from gate 5 last time out to find the front and despite walking them in the middle half, could not hold on for the win. Runner-up to MULLUM AXEL two starts back, he is a place player.

TIN AMBER MINE (3) settled three back on the poles in a small field last time out at Marburg before making some nice metres in the closing stages for the silver, beaten just a half-neck. He can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: TARDELLI (6), MULLUM AXEL (5), REGAZZO DI TILLY (8), TIN AMBER MINE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TARDELLI (6) to win
