The Longreach Jockey Club non-TAB meeting today, Saturday, June 4 has been postponed to Sunday, June 5 due to weather/state of the track.
Approximately 11mm rainfall was received late Friday night, making the track unsuitable to race on Saturday.
Due to the postponement, all scratchings from the Saturday meeting have been reinstated for the Sunday race meeting. Trainers must contact Racing Australia if they wish to scratch again from the Sunday race meeting.
There will be no fees charged for any scratchings from this meeting due to the postponement.
Race times for the Sunday meeting will be the same as scheduled originally for Saturday, with the first race commencing at 1.25pm.
The club will also stage a phantom (betting) meeting on Saturday with all facilities available.
