RACE TWO

MISSTREPO (3) steps out in Qld for the 1st time for Graham Dwyer, the now 4YO mare having an interrupted career. After a pair of 2YO starts in March 2019, she was not seen again until August 2020 for a lone start. With a sharp trial against some experienced performers, she can strike fresh.

R ELEVEN ART (1) is a 2YO stepping up to take on some more experienced rivals here. With added experience from his latest outing when 2nd up, he went to the line searching for gaps that did not present behind MISTY CREEK. With the inside gate advantage, he can strike here.

SIR HASZEM (4) has placed in both runs back from a spell, the latest when trying to take them all the way at Redcliffe. Gunned down in the latter stages, he can be looking to join in again here.

GOLDEN GRIN (5) resumes from a spell after a pair of starts to kick off her career earlier in the season. Well beaten last start behind the smart DOCTA FEELGOOD, she can be an improver here.

SELECTIONS: MISSTREPO (3), R ELEVEN ART (1), SIR HASZEM (4), GOLDEN GRIN (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISSTREPO (3) to win

RACE THREE

JANSSON (13)
stepped up to the open ranks last start and after making a starting error, found the pegs before closing out smartly to be 5m in arrears of the winner FLINGANDWINGIT. Grabbed in the last strides by PRINCESS FAITH 2 starts back, it followed a stretch drive shoot out where GUNNER prevailed. Despite the big handicap, he can arrive.

GUNNER (9) pressed ahead from the 30m tape last start to find the breeze and from there was doing it the tough way. Still with bullets to fire in the stretch, he was able to win the closing attack in holding on for a half-head victory. He steps up to the 50m impost but looks up to the task.

DOWN UNDER RORS (7) was sent forward form the 40m tape last start and working in the run was in for the fight when grinding out a 3rd to IM THE COMMANDO. In nice touch of late, he can be in the mix.

ALDEBARAN SELENA (1) will strip fitter following her return to the track last time out when tackling her own age. Making a mess of the start, she was able to chase to grab 3rd and has a place chance again.

SELECTIONS: JANSSON (13), GUNNER (9), DOWN UNDER RORS (7), ALDEBARAN SELENA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JANSSON (13) to win

RACE FIVE

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) eased from this gate last start and from back in the pack was struggling to work into the contest as the tempo was dictated from the front. Too far back the start prior as DELIGHTFUL REASON dictated, if he can position cheaply, he might have the bullets at the end of the 2138m.

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6) was asked to do it first over last start from gate 5 and after a tough trip was unable to see it out. A winner here the start prior when sent to the past as fav and proving too strong out in front, the query is the middle distance, but he can look to make a challenge.

GOJOE (11) was pegged away from inside the 2nd line last start and was out and chasing as MY ULTIMATE BAXTER score the win. Fitter for the outing, he can get the right tow into this to feature.

SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (12) tackled a Trot Rods 2 runs back from the inside alley when holding on for 3rd behind NO DOUBT. Making the closing shot a winner last start, he can be chiming in again here.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (5), MAYWYN TROUBADOR (6), GOJOE (11), SPECIALANDIKNOWIT (12)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

VIENNA BOY (1)
was snagged off the arm from a wide gate when tackling a qualifier 3 starts back and probing for inside runs was unlucky to not finish closer. Finding his race 2 starts back, he finished over the top to score and followed that with a nice 3rd last start. With the options he looks tough to stop.

MORESCO (4) held the early advantage from gate 1 prior to releasing last time out and then was best of the chasers as OUR BALOU controlled it from the front. Gunned down by VIENNA BOY 2 starts back over the mile when setting the tempo, she has the early hustle to be in a challenging position.

HAVING THE FAITH (12) pressed on from gate 5 last start to work to the breeze and from there was game in grinding it out for 3rd to OUR BALOU. The gate stings but he can be in the fight.

ANOTHER STATEMENT (10) returns from a long break to start his 4YO term, last seen in the South East Derby last season when not that far from GOVERNOR JUJON.  With a pair of trials to blow the cobwebs out, the latest a nice effort, he will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: VIENNA BOY (1), MORESCO (4), HAVING THE FAITH (12), ANOTHER STATEMENT (10)
SUGGESTED BET: VIENNA BOY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

JERADAS DELIGHT (11)
had finished runner-up in 2 successive outings when charging home to be 2m from SCARLET BABE and then a half-head from GOLIGHTLY. Settling rearward off a hot tempo last start, she hit the afterburners in the stretch in a scintillating victory and a repeat is on the cards.

MOHS EM DOWN (3) pressed on to take control over this trip 3 starts back and from the front was able to pinch some early panels before a closing 27.4 put it out of reach for the chasers. Wide gates have been his undoing at his past 2 starts and back to a good alley can look to fight them off here.

MONTANA CHIEF (7) continues to attack the line in his races, the latest when charging late to be 6m in arrears of the winner CARDLESFROMHEAVEN. The gate stings but if the tempo is hot, he can rattle home.

DELIGHTFUL MAJOR (1) lands the ideal alley here first-up from a spell to get a cosy trip in behind the action. A last start winner when taking them all the way over the mile, he can be thereabouts fresh.

SELECTIONS: JERADAS DELIGHT (11), MOHS EM DOWN (3), MONTANA CHIEF (7), DELIGHTFUL MAJOR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: JERADAS DELIGHT (11) to win

RACE EIGHT

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (2)
was repelled in the early stages here 3 starts back and forced to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way, was unable to see it out. Wide gates have made it tough his past 2, the latest from the 2nd line over his less preferred 2138m trip. Back to the mile looks ideal from this alley.

LEFT A TERROR (4) has hit the board in 9 of 1 this season including 2 wins in his past 4 outings. Keeping them wide from gate 1 here 2 starts back over the 2138m, he took them all the way and followed that with a gritty 3rd from the breeze when only 1m away. He will throw it down here.

OUR MEGASTAR (8) claimed a qualifier here last start when firing out from gate 4 before taking the trail and then finishing best in the closing stages. Tucked away in this, he will be probing for gaps.

ONE OFF (1) was beaten by the gate last start when retreating from gate 7 and too far back to make a meaningful challenge. Not too far from B MAC C the start prior, with a cosy trip he can feature.

SELECTIONS: TEARAWAY DIAMOND (2), LEFT A TERROR (4), OUR MEGASTAR (8), ONE OFF (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE NINE

BITCOIN (7) has no favours from the wide gate here but might just find this enough of a grade drop to capitalise. Eased from gate 5 last start, he was wide off the track when chiming in late for the bronze behind ITS MR CLOONEY. Down the line in a qualifier the start prior, he is up to the task.

OCEAN LANE (2) was angled to the pegs from the 2nd line last start and pegged away was searching for runs that did not open. Trying to work home in the closing stages the start prior, a return to the front-line suits and with early hustle will be in the right spot to cash in.

OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (9) was put out play last start from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe behind a tiring leader and the start prior she bumped into TALENT TO SPARE. This is the right type of race for her to chime into.

CHILI ROCKS (1) was asked to hang tough in the breeze last start and after the tough trip was grabbed late by ESTARDAY to finish with the silver. This is a step up, but the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: BITCOIN (7), OCEAN LANE (2), OUR ULTIMATE HANNA (9), CHILI ROCKS (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
