Race 1: TAB MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
 
ARCING HARD – Bumped with THE MOVE on jumping. Whilst overracing near the 600m made contact with PLAYTHEFIELD on a couple of occasions when awkwardly placed to the inside of ABSOLUTE ROCK.
 
LAKOUDIS – Slow to begin after jumping away awkwardly.
 
STYLISH SAGA – Raced three wide without cover from the 600m.
 
THE MOVE – Bumped with ARCING HARD on jumping.
 
Race 2: IPG MARKETING SOLUTIONS QTIS 3YO MAIDEN PLATE – 1200M
 
CAPTAIN RIDDLE – Crowded on jumping between HEARTS DENIED, which shifted outwards after blundering, and MISS MAGNOLIA, which jumped inwards. Raced greenly in the middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

ENTERTAINER – Bumped with THREE STRIPES on jumping. Proved very difficult to settle and laid outwards from the 900m.
 
HEARTS DENIED – Blundered on jumping and shifted outwards.
 
MAKEDON – Jumped away awkwardly and shifted outwards, inconveniencing THE MINIVAN. Inconvenienced shortly after passing the 800m when CAPTAIN RIDDLE rolled outwards and thereafter raced three wide without cover. Bumped and carried wider near the 300m.
 
POINTSTOHAPPINESS – When attempting to come to the outside of MISS MAGNOLIA near the 300m, made contact with MAKEDON and carried that gelding wider.
 
THE MINIVAN – Inconvenienced on jumping.
 
THREE STRIPES – Bumped with ENTERTAINER on jumping.
 
CENTRAL AMERICA – Got its head up when overracing near the 800m.
 
MISS MAGNOLIA – Laid outwards in the straight.
 
Race 3: CANADIAN CLUB QTIS 3YO H’CAP – 1600M
 
REBEL ROCK – Slow to begin.
 
BAY NOT GREY – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to GOOD 3.
 
Race 4: MCCARTHY HOMES C,G&E CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1300M
 
DELADIES BOY – Slow to begin.
 
ENTERPRISE MOSS – Laid inwards between the 400m and the 200m.
 
IN FIORE – Jumped outwards at the start, crowding DIOMEDES on to STARBUSTER.
 
DIOMDES – Crowded on jumping.
 
Following this event B. Stewart was examined by the Club doctor and stood down from his remaining engagements. Riding replacements were made as per the Stewards Race Day Summary.
 
Race 5: ASCOT GREEN MAIDEN H’CAP – 1300M
 
WILCARUISE – Sat back as the start was effected and as a result lost considerable ground.
 
LUBUK – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
TOPLINE – Made contact with GANDIVA on jumping and shortly after was crowded when LUTECE shifted out after jumping awkwardly.
 
GANDIVA – The near hind plate required refitting behind the barriers. Bumped on jumping.
 
HIGHLAND SKIPPER – Raced three wide without cover throughout.
 
LUTECE – Shifted out after jumping awkwardly. Momentarily held up passing the 250m.
 
Race 6: MAKERS MARK CLASS 5 H’CAP – 1200M
 
LA SCOPA – Raced wide throughout. Got its head up near the 900m whilst being steadied when attempting to ease to race closer to the rail.
 
SIX SIGMA – Had a tendency to lay inwards and had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the straight.
 
IT AIN’T ALL HONEY – Had to be eased when crowded shortly after the start.
 
ANGEL DANE – Refused to jump. Trainer S. Tregea was advised that the mare will be required to perform two satisfactory barrier trials prior to its next start. Mr Tregea indicated that it was his intention to retire the mare from racing.
 
BUFFY – Bumped with ROUND MOUNTAIN GAL on jumping.
 
AMERICAN GENIUS – Trainer S. O’Dea advised that the horse will be ridden off the pace today. The horse was ridden accordingly.
 
ROUND MOUNTAIN GAL – Bumped with BUFFY on jumping. Raced three wide without cover from the 700m.
 
Race 7: LEXUS F&M CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1300M
 
ONE FOR BETTY – Blundered on jumping, losing ground.
 
NOTONYA NELLY – Raced three wide from the 600m.
 
LASHONI – Held up for clear running between the 400m and the 200m.
 
TOO HOT TO HOLD – Bumped with MY DELILAH shortly after the start.
 
MY DELILAH – Bumped with TOO HOT TO HOLD shortly after the start. Disappointed for a run near the 300m when LASHONI laid inwards.
 
Race 8: CHANNEL 7 CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1845M
 
MULLAGHMORE – Checked near the 400m when racing between WILLY BE LUCKY and FELZONE. On inquiry it was established that approaching the turn into the straight MULLAGHMORE (R. Maloney) was attempting to improve its position and in so doing made contact with WILLY BE LUCKY (A. Thompson), resulting in that gelding being turned inwards slightly. At the same time FELZONE (B. Nothdurft) rolled outwards, with MULLAGHMORE then racing in restricted room and having to be checked. Stewards believed they could not substantiate a charge against any rider, however, all riders were advised to exercise care when shifting ground in future.
 
CHIEF COMMAND – Slow to begin.
 
REMUERA – Raced three wide in the early stages.
 
UNO TOPS – Raced keenly in the early stages.
 
TAVISFACTION – Had difficulty obtaining clear running between the 450m and the 200m and thereafter was inclined to lay inwards.
 
CLEAR SAILING – Raced wide without cover.
 
WILLY BE LUCKY – Raced wide throughout. Lost the near hind plate in running.
 
LINCOLN’S COMMAND – Slow to begin.
