RACE 1: HARTLEY GRAZING BENCHMARK 55 HANDICAP 800M
 
LA CLOISONNE – Began awkwardly and lost ground.
 
HAPPY MEDIUM – Slow to begin.
 
RAVELLING – Raced wide throughout. Trainer C. Rodgers advised that the mare would be sent for an immediate spell.
 
RACE 2: SAMIOS TRADING POST CLASS B HANDICAP 1000M
 
 
Due to an impending storm the starting time  to this event was brought forward to 2:15pm.
 
ITSTINGS– Commenced to weaken in the home straight. Trainer W. Baker advised that the mare would be retired from his stable.
 
ZOOMESDAY – Tightened between ITSTINGS and MOUNTAIN RETREAT on jumping, lost ground as a result. Made the home turn wide.
 
RED GERANIUM – Raced wide throughout.
 
Following race 2, a serve storm occurred which made the track unsuitable for racing. Stewards therefore abandoned the remainder of the meeting at 2:25pm.
