GENERAL
 
As jockey S. Wilson was not riding at today’s meeting due to personal reasons he was replaced as per Stewards summary.

Race 1: HINCHINBROOK SHIRE COUNCIL QTIS MAIDEN PLATE – 1000M
 
OPPENHEIMER – Shifted in at the start bumping heavily with another runner.
 
SHOW ME YOURS – Bumped heavily on jumping away and lost ground.
 
CASINO WEEK – Slow to begin.
 
LINNET MOON – Blundered shortly after the start and lost ground. Raced wide for the majority of the race. 
 
REVERBERATING – Raced ungenerously in the early stages. Hampered by another runner near the 50m and was steadied.
 
REAR VIEW MIRROR – Shifted in near the 400m when racing greenly bumping another runner. Shifted out near the 50m hampering another runner.
 
ROCKET OF GOLD – Bumped by another runner near the 400m and becoming momentarily unbalanced.
 
CINEMATOGRAPHY – Had a tendency to hang out in the early and middle stages of the race.
 
OSBECK – Raced wide for the majority of the race. Rider J. Stanley reported the gelding hung out for the majority of the race.
 
Race 2: DEVIETTI HOLDEN/NORTHERN AGRI SERVICES CLASS B H’CAP – 1000M
 
CEEBIZ KIT – Delayed the start when shifted its near hind plate behind the barriers requiring farrier attention. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
CRAIGLEA MARIAH – Began awkwardly.
 
NORTHERN SECRET – Commenced to race ungenerously near the 500m and shifted out forcing another runner wider.  
 
ROCKING MY WORLD – Forced wider near the 500m becoming awkward on the heels of another runner and having to be restrained. Disappointed for a run approaching the 300m and was then unable to obtain clear running in the home straight and went to the line without being fully tested. 
 
MISHANI LA SCALA – Tightened for room and steadied near the 350m.
 
MY BOY TICKETS – Shifted in near the 350m when being urged along tightening the running of another runner. Rider S. Sheargold was severely reprimanded and advised to show greater care in similar circumstances. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
JACHO – Raced wide for the majority of the race. 
 
Race 3: COSCER FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS BENCHMARK 50 H’CAP – 1400M
 
MISS HAVISHAM – Slow to begin.
 
LOVE ME RUBY – Slow to begin. Held up for clear running in the early part of the straight.
 
TRY BEFORE DUBAI – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
SUNNY CHIEF – Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
COLLAR’S UP – Began awkwardly and shifted in abruptly.
 
MEXICAN MOUNTAIN – Shifted wider near 1000m racing wide from that point onwards.  
 
TAPTHETILL – Commenced to over-race approaching the 1000m improving onto heels before shifting wider and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
CAPT’N THUNDERBIRD – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have laceration to its near hind leg.    
 
Race 4: NQIB/PICKLES BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 1200M
 
CRUISE POWER – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start.
 
DEXTEROUS – Over-raced in the early and middle stages of the race. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
PENNY GAMBLER – Checked near the 1000m when tightened for room. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
RYLEE’S SAGA – Rider K. Stone pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR137(a) in that near the 1000m he permitted that runner to shift under riding when insufficiently clear of PENNY GAMBLER (B. Swaffer) which had to severely checked and lost its rightful running. K. Stone’s licence to ride in races was suspended for a period of 13 days to commence at midnight 8 September 2018 up to and including midnight 21 September 2018. Stewards deemed this incident mid-range interference and Mr Stone was advised of his right of review.   
 
Race 5: INGHAM CELLABRATIONS BENCHMARK 60 H’CAP – 2000M
 
AESOP – Slow to begin.
 
THE PRINCIPAL – Slow to begin. Shifter wider leaving the 1100m to improve and raced wide from that point onwards.
 
FRISKIER – Raced wide in the early stages until obtaining the lead near the 1300m.
