The Winter Carnival ramps up this weekend, with the third edition of the Queensland Sun headlining a big night of racing at Albion Park.
The race for three-year-olds and four-year-olds will be restricted to horses trained by Queensland trainers or trainers whose horses predominately race in Queensland.
The $53,040 race will also offer the winner progression through to the coveted Group 1 The Rising Sun one week later.
