SIDEREUS DISCORD Slow to begin. Inclined to hang out rounding the home turn.
 
LION COMING Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
 
 
Race 2: Burleigh Townn Village Crew QTIS 3yo Fillies Maiden Plate 1200m
 
 
TAABINGA As S. Lacy was indisposed, C. Bayliss was substituted as the rider of the horse. However due to transport issues, C. Baylisss was unable to fulfil his engagement and was substituted with H. Phillips.
 
WINDQUEST Slow to begin. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
MCCULLOUGH Slow to begin.
 
BOASTING Jumped awkwardly at the start, losing considerable ground.
 
VON ROSEN Tightened for racing room near the 500m.
 
ARENKHA Tightened for racing room near the 500m.
 
MISHANI ELECTRA Raced wide before reaching the lead near the 500m. Jockey M. Pegus was reprimandedd under AR137(a)) for allowing his mount to shift in, tightening the racing room of ARENKHA and VON ROSEN.

DVINA Reared as the start was effected, losing considerable ground.. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed on the horse regarding its barrier manners.
 
CASSINI COMET Slow to begin. Jockey S. Bayliss lost his whip near the 100m.
 
EXCRUCIATE Slow to begin.
 
SKYE VALLEY A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the near fore knee. Trainer M. Eggleston indicated that the horse may be retired from racing. Mr Eggleston was advised that should he decide to continue to race the horse, a veterinary certificate would be required.
 
 
Race 4:: Trackside Photography Class 3 HHcap 1200m
 
PURE WHISPER Slow to begin.
 
DAVOR Slow to begin. Lost its near hind plate during the event, which may have placed it at a disadvantage.
 
WAR CHEST Held up approaching the home turn and again near the 200m when bumped by another runner. Cast its near hind plate and had sustained a laceration to the near hind fetlock.
 
HAROLD VICTOR Raced 3 wide without cover
 
CORDER Raced wider without cover throughout.
 
 
 
Race 5: Truck And Earth Open HHcap 1650m
 
SECRET CODE Cast its near hind plate in the enclosure, which was reaffixed prior to the start.
 
CHAMPAGNE ROCK Slow to begin.
 
YABA DABL DOYA Overraced entering the first turn and improved wider on the course to race outside the leader with 1200m remaining.
 
LITTLE WEALTH Entering the first turn was bumped by another runner and forced wider. Hung in in the turn to the finish.
 
ANNIHILATION Entering the first turn had to be steadied from the heels of SECRET CODE when placed in restricted room. R. Stewart, rider of SECRET CODE, was advised to exercise more care when crossing runners.
 
 
Race 6:: Barrier Reef Pools BenchMark 58 HHcap 1650m
 
BRIGHTNBREEZY As T. Chambers was indisposed, R. Stewart was substituted.
 
ASTRONOMIC Connections advised it would be ridden in a more forward position. An announcement was made to that effect.  Raced wide for the first 1000m of the event before positioning outside the leader.
 
HELL OF A TIME Slow to begin.
 
MY BOY LOUIE Slow to begin.
 
RED BOHEMIA Slow to begin.
 
THATTS DESPICABLE Slow to begin.
 
GALIANO Raced wide entering the first turn.
 
DERIVATATE Raced wide entering the first turn.
 
SALT FLAT Tired noticeably over the final 600m. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer S. Kurz was advised that in view of the horsees poor performance today it will be required to requalify in an official trial.
 
 
Race 7:: Clear Summer Lodge Ratings Band 0-58 HHcap 1100m
 
CLOVERLEIGH LASS As G Colless was indisposed, L. Rolls was substituted,
 
KINGSSMITH FLYERR - Overraced in the early stages.
 
ZOUTANO Began awkwardly and was bumped between runners, losing ground.
 
FELIX Slow to begin.
 
LAST ROUND Shifted out on the home turn and bumped another runner.
 
LANDALE Bumped by another runner approaching the home turn and shifted wider on the course.
 
HIZOU Disappointed for a run between runners nearing the 100m.
 
WHISPERING WINGS -- Held up for clear running approaching the home turn.
 
 
 
Race 8:: Haack Logistics Ratings Band 0-58 HHcap 1100m
 
OUR ROCK OOREILLY Took charge of its jockey en route to the barriers and was inspected by the veterinarian and declared a late scratching at 4.07 pm.. Subsequent to the event all monies invested on the horse were ordered to be refunded with the following deductions applicable.

20 cents in the dollar on the face value of 2nd place bets
12 cents in the dollar on the face value of 3rd place bets
 
CLARADINI Jumped awkwardly and contacted another runner.
 
ELITE FORCE Bumped by another runner as the start was effected.
 
LA RANAJ TORO Slow to begin.
 
OUR ROCKY Overraced in the early stages and then travelled 3 wide throughout.

TOTAL GESTURE Trainer B. Robinson was fined $100 for failing to declare a rider within the prescribed time.

ROYAL LADY Began slowly, then raced wide throughout the event before tiring noticeably over the concluding stages.. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
 
WHODUNNIT Steadied away from heels near the 500m.
 
SHORT CHANGED Jumped awkwardly.
 
AFTFUL SONG Raced wide throughout.
