Race 1: EASTER MONDAY RACES QTIS 3YO BENCHMARK 62 H’CAP – 1200M
 
JINX ‘N’ DRINX – J. Morris was reprimanded for making a celebratory gesture prior to the winning post.
 
ROYAL MYTH – Fractious in the barriers, then began awkwardly, blundered and shifted out abruptly.
 
KANUI – Overraced in the early stages.
 
Race 2: XXXX BENCHMARK 62 H’CAP – 2450M
 
TIZABEE – Overraced in the early stages and then was inconvenienced slightly approaching the home turn when attempting a narrow run.
 
Race 3: BEAUDESERT SOFT DRINKS MAIDEN H’CAP – 1300M
 
INSTANT’S HONOUR – Slow to begin.
 
IN SEATTLE – Slow to muster speed.
 
RANDGOLD – Trainer M. Palmer was fined $100 for the late declaration of M. Bennett as rider.
 
FLEURIST – Raced three wide without cover.

PLUCKANI – Galloped on on the off hind and required veterinary treatment. Trainer N. Owen was advised that the horse will require a veterinary clearance before racing again.
 
AVERNA MOUNTAIN – Slow to begin.
 
MEGASHOT – Slow to  begin.
 
Race 4: HAACK LOGISTICS CLASS 2 H’CAP – 1400M
 
SIR BAM – Hung in in the straight.
 
PENDIGO – Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was cleared to race.
 
JOURNALIST – Bumped heavily after the start and then was slow to muster speed.
 
TE RANGI – Slow into stride.
 
Following the running of this event the track was upgraded to GOOD 3.
 
Race 5: ANZAC DAY RACES BENCHMARK 70 H’CAP – 1100M
 
JOHNHRO – Had to be steadied near the 900m. Overraced and shifted out from the 600m and then hung out thereafter.
 
FLAVIAN – Stumbled at the start. Carried three wide from the 600m.
 
OL’ BROWN EYES – Hung in passing the 400m.
 
OMISSION – Steadied near the 500m.
 
Race 6: BARRIER REEF POOLS CLASS 1 H’CAP – 1200M
 
The declaration of correct weight was delayed when S. Galloway, the rider of 2nd placegetter COURT RULES, viewed the stewards’ patrol footage of the head-on in the straight to determine whether he had grounds on which to lodge an objection against the winner.
 
BABY MERLIN – Held up on the home turn.
 
FINEST SAILING – Raced three wide without cover. W. D’Avila reported post-race that the mare did not feel comfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
 
GEILEIS – Steadied near the 900m. Steadied when tightened for room near the 250m.
 
COURT RULES – Slow into stride.
 
INSTANTANEOUS – Bounded at the start. Bled from one nostril. The horse must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward before being permitted to race again.
 
FIGHTING BELLE – Raced three wide with cover.
 
VOANABA – Raced three wide without cover until striding forward to race outside the leader at the 600m. Bumped on the hind quarters just prior to straightening and became unbalanced.
 
THAT SCHMIDT GIRL – Slow to begin. Hung in in the straight.
 
Race 7: LOGAN & ALBERT AFTERPARTY BENCHMARK 58 H’CAP – 1650M
 
The start of this race was delayed when LUCKY THREE SEVENS proved difficult to load.
 
CHAMPAGNE ROCK – Slow to begin.
 
CREATIONIST – Held up approaching the home turn.
 
ALFIE JUNIOR – Raced three wide without cover.
 
LUCKY THREE SEVENS – Raced four wide.
