GENERAL

Due to remedial work being required to be undertaken on the racing surface due to recent rainfall, the starting times for this meeting were delayed significantly with Race 1 rescheduled to jump at 3:07pm.

As Jockey R McMahon was suspended and not riding at the meeting, rider changes we made as per the Stewards Summary.

Stewards accepted the explanations tendered by trainers in respect to late rider notifications at today’s meeting.

As a result of the 1000m chute being unsuitable for racing, races 1,2,3 were started from the course proper rather than the chute. As a consequence, the starting distances for these events were required to be adjusted to approximately 1030m.
