GENERAL – Jockey C. Bryen was absent due to illness and was advised a doctor’s certificate would be required before racing again.

Race 1: UNION HOTEL BM 55 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

LUCKY BOBBY was a late scratching at 12:00 pm as there was no rider available.

MY FLING – Was slow into stride.

RHYTHM NATION – Raced keenly in the early stages of the event.

GU BRATH – Jockey S. McGovern was fined $150 (AR 120(b)) for being overweight. When no other rider was available, he was permitted to retain the ride. Travelled wide for the majority of the event. Jockey S. McGovern stated the gelding did not handle the track conditions.

FELTON PHANTOM – Travelled wide for the majority of the event and hung out down the home straight.

STAND’ N’ STARE – Was slow away.

TENMOREGRAND – Was slow away.

TING TONG TIGER – Jockey J. Rudd was the rider. Trainer B. Richardson was fined $100 for this late declaration.



Race 2: CROSSDRAW WESTERN CLOTHING BM 70 HANDICAP - 1300 metres

REIGNING TO WIN – Was slow away.

HELLUVA HURRY – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

LA CLOISONNE – Travelled wide in the early stages of the event.

STANDOVER – Was slow away and over raced in the early stages.

Race 3: SMITH BROS MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres

JIMNA – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

SCHIEHALLION – When the barrier gates sprung back, this caused the gelding to the slow to begin, slow into stride and travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the event.

ARMANI PRINCE – Slow to begin.

AXFORD – The barrier gates were slow to open which caused the gelding to be slow away. Stewards permitted jockey K. Chan and trainer T. Austin to view the patrol footage before correct weight was given.

Race 4: BARCOO PLUMBING CLASS 3 PLATE - 1050 metres


BELHARI BOY – Hung out down the home straight.

BUTCHER BOY – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide.

SCHWEIZ – Travelled wide throughout and lay in down the home straight.

DIAMONEEZE – Was slow away and travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the event.

EXCLUSIVE KITTY – Jockey L. Tilley was the replacement rider for C. Bryen who was not available due to illness. travelled wide in the early stages of the event.

GIVE IT BERRIES – Jockey S. McGovern was fined $150 (AR 120(b)) for being overweight. When no other rider was available, he was permitted to retain the ride. Jumped outwards and hampered RODEL.

Race 5: NOEL ALLOM MEMORIAL CUP OPEN HANDICAP - 1050 metres

LUCASAM – Was slow away and travelled wide in the early stages of the race.

CRYSTAL MATES – Jumped outwards making contact with LEGAL DANCER.

FOUR JOY – Jumped away awkwardly and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

SHORT TRIP – App Jockey Q. Krogh was the replacement rider for C. Bryen who was not available due to illness.

LEGAL DANCER – Jockey J. Rudd was the replacement rider for S. McGovern who could not make the allotted weight.
