Race 1: ELDERS CLASS 3 PLATE - 1000 metres

INSTINCTICE MOVE – Jumped outwards and slow to begin.

RAHEEBS KINGDOM – Jumped outwards.

DRAGON TOWN – Jumped inwards and lay in for the majority of the event. Trainer D. O’Brien was a warning was placed on the gelding and an improvement in racing manners would be required next start.

Race 2: FRAMES RURAL AGENCIES WEIGHT FOR AGE - 1000 metres

BILLY JAY – Could not muster any early speed.

CRYSTAL MATES – Travelled wide for the majority of the event.

Jockey C. Dixon the rider of HEROIC ACTION was reminded of his obligation to ride his mount out to the line.

Race 3: BARRON AGENCIES MAIDEN PLATE - 1050 metres

AXFORD – Jumped inwards tightening DIAMOND KAZ for room.

DIAMOND KAZ – Hampered at the start when runners, inside and out shifted ground, then raced greenly for the majority.

SON OF SAGA – Taken out on jumping by inside runner then travelled wide in the early and middle stages of the race.

ROYAL ILLUSION – Jumped outwards bumping SON OF SAGA, causing the gelding to shift outwards.

MISHANI ISTANA – Travelled wide in the middle and late stages of the event.

Race 4: RAY WHITE LIVESTOCK QTIS BM 50 HANDICAP - 1200 metres


KHAPTIVATA – Blundered out of the gates.

SEA CITY – Jumped inwards tightening inside runner for room.

SPURSYN – Contact at the start by outside runner and had to be restrained losing ground.

STANDOVER – Hampered at the start when outside runner jumped inwards.

FINAL RUN – Jumped inwards hampering EIGHT SKIRTS.

EIGHT SKIRTS – Hampered at the start when outside runner shifted ground and had to be restrained.

ARMANI PRINCE – Wouldn’t stretch out just after the start.

YULETIDE – Travelled wide in the early and middle stages.


Race 5: GDL BM 60 HANDICAP - 1400 metres

WILD GODSON – Slow to begin.

CURLEY GREY – Slow to begin and showed no early speed and travelled wide for the majority of the event.

SPIRIT OF MANY – Travelled wide for the majority.

Race 6 : LANDMARK OPEN HANDICAP – 1400 metres


LEO’S SPIRIT – Slow into stride.

BUTCHER BOY – Travelled wide.
