Race 1: Towers Jockey Club Members Class B Handicap 1000 metres:
1st – YOU STILL OWE ME 2nd – TUNE UP WARRIOR 3rd – REMOS 4th – GOLDEN PAGES

DANROCKING – Was slowly into stride and bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

ROGER RAMJET – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

REMOS – Knuckled over on jumping.

YOU STILL OWE ME – Saddle slipped near the 600 metres placing Jockey J Felix at a disadvantage.

STARMOSA – Jockey M Morris advised Stewards that the gelding had not handled the sand track and, as a consequence, had failed to stretch out in running.

Race 2: Colemans Stockfeeds QTIS Maiden Plate 1200 metres:
1st – MOLONGLE DAWN 2nd – SILVER BOWS 3rd – LORD HAVOC 4th – MAJOR LEGACY

WHITE SPORT COAT which was found, at the barriers, to be carrying a broken bridle was a late withdrawal by order of Stewards at 2:12pm.
After being placed in the barriers HONEST FRIEND became fractious and as a result Apprentice K Aho who sustained a leg injury was stood down by on course paramedics from taking part in the event. As a result HONEST FRIEND was withdrawn at 2:18pm. Subsequently prior to correct weight being declared Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on WHITE SPORT COAT and HONEST FRIEND be refunded in full and all successful wagers placed on the event prior to 2:12pm be subject to deductions of 22 cents win and 21 cents place on the face value of the betting ticket, and that further deductions of 16cents win and 14 cents place on the face value of the betting ticket be applied to all successful wagers placed on the event between 2:12pm and 2:18pm.

Apprentice K Aho was subsequently re-examined prior to Race 3 by on course paramedics and was cleared to fulfil her remaining riding engagements.

CITY CHAT – Was slowly away and bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

VALENTINE’S DAY – Was slowly away and bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

MARVIN – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.Was inconvenienced near the 500 metres after improving onto the heels of another runner.

MOLOGLE DAWN – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start. Was inclined to shift out under pressure down the running.

MAJOR LEGACY – Was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on heels in the early stages of the event.

SILVER BOWS - Was inclined to shift out under pressure down the running.

Race 3: Life Members Class 3 Plate 1200 metres:
1st – AERIAL PING PONG 2nd – SUNNY CHIEF 3rd – ROSE IN BLOOM 4th – ORATRY

SANDBAR JACK which was late on course due to transport difficulties underwent a veterinary inspection on arrival and was passed fit to take its place in the field.

MOORINGS MAGIC – Was fractious in the barriers.

ASTRONAUT – Was slowly into stride.

ROSE IN BLOOM – Was slowly into stride. Was inclined to shift in under pressure down the running taking another runner in. Jockey T Bannon was reminded of her responsibility to stop riding and straighten when her mount is shifting ground.

FORGOTTEN DESTINY – Was inclined to over-race in the early and middle stages. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding, which performed below market expectations, failed to reveal any abnormalities.

EXTRA GLANCE – Jockey P Cullen advised Stewards that the mare was inclined to race erratically near the 700 metres, shifting in away from sand kickback and crowding runners to its inside.

KING BROWN – Was inconvenienced near the 700 metres when crowded by another runner which was racing erratically due to sand kickback.

THE ALAMO - Was inconvenienced near the 700 metres when crowded by another runner which was racing erratically due to sand kickback.

SUNNY CHIEF – Was taken in down the running by another runner which was shifting in.

Race 4: Hammer & Co Earthmoving Towers Cup Benchmark 60 Handicap 1600 metres:
1st – GODDESS OF LUCK 2nd – WATCH THE RED 3rd – GOSSES BLUFF 4th – MAY NELLY (NZ)

BEG PARDON – Was fractious in the barriers.

GOSSES BLUFF – Was slowly away.

Race 5: 11th July Rural Raceday Open Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – AZARAX 2nd – WHITSUNDAY EXPRESS 3rd – STARLISTIC 4th – PRESSUM

PRETTY GULLY which threw itself down in the enclosure, dislodging Jockey G Watson, was a late withdrawal by order of Stewards at 4:15pm. Subsequently prior to correct weight being declared Stewards ordered that all monies wagered on PRETTY GULLY be refunded in full and all successful wagers placed on the event prior to 4:15pm be subject to deductions of 26 cents win and 25 cents place on the face value of the betting ticket.

AZARAX – Was slowly into stride. Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

STARLISTIC - Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.
