Race 1: BLAIR ATHOL COAL QTIS BENCHMARK 50 Handicap 1400 METRES
The start of the race was delayed by 20 minutes due to a power outage.
BAFFLE MAC, was slow into stride and tailed the field home, was sent for a post-race veterinary examination and no abnormalities were found. Stewards advised trainer David Jones that BAFFLE MAC was barred from racing until it passed a barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards. Trainer D Jones advised stewards on return to the stables on inspection discovered a piece of metal that was protruding from the near hind hoof which may have affected the performance of BAFFLE MAC. He added BAFFLE MAC will be spelled.
SATURN OPS, was slow into stride.
BON WARRIOR, raced four wide throughout without cover.

Race 2: PURDIE TYRES / SMART STAYZZZ INNS Class B Handicap 1200 METRES
The start of the race was delayed by 15 minutes due to a power outage.
CLEAR THE DEBT, was slow into stride.
CHERMSIDE MISS, was slow into stride, bumped another runner shortly after the start, held up for clear running from the 200 metres until the 160 metres.
VAMPARINA, raced three wide throughout without cover.
MARZENA, raced three wide throughout with cover.
INFINITE ADVANTAGE, raced four throughout without cover.
Race 3: EPPING FOREST Maiden Plate 1000 METRES
GALSHADOW, was extremely slow to begin, raced wide throughout without cover.
MILITARY GHOST, was slow into stride raced wide throughout
PAPER TALK, was fractious prior to the start,
DAZZLING SHOW, tightened for room shortly after the start.
LAST SPIN, raced wide throughout.
GRAND ALIBI, rider given permission to ride 1 kg overweight when no other riders were available, raced wide throughout.
SMARTY JACK, raced wide throughout.
Race 4:CFMEU RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 Handicap 1000 METRES
ARCHIE’S SON, began awkwardly.
LONROADTOFLY was slow to begin and raced wide throughout.
CAMBOOYA raced three wide without cover.
Race 5: ISAAC REGIONAL COUNCIL CLERMONT LIGHTNING OPEN Handicap 1000 METRES
As jockey Rick Nelson the rider of FOUR EXCEL was to be overweight stewards permitted jockey Richie Oakford to be the replacement rider. As Jockey Rick Nelson had only just resumed riding after a 20year absence stewards issued him with a reprimand.
Stewards permitted apprentice jockey Dakota Graham to ride MAGOT half a kilo overweight, as this was apprentice jockey Dakota Grahams second day back riding from a broken foot stewards deemed an appropriate penalty to be a reprimand for accepting a ride when overweight.
ARTIE’S SHORE, knuckled at the start and as a result was slow into stride, was held up and tightened for room when attempting a tight run on the home turn to the inside of CLAPPERS.
FOUR EXCEL, raced wide throughout.
