REGAL ROTH - Struck the rail en route to the barriers, was examined by the Club's veterinary surgeon at the barriers and cleared to take its place in the field. When questioned regarding his ride, App. N. Yadi stated that his mount was inclined to hang out throughout the event. He said that after straightening for home he was held up on heels and unable to improve, and consequently had to be shifted to the outside to obtain clear running. When questioned further as to whether there was an opportunity for him to improve into a run between CARRY ME LAD and COW BAY, App. Yadi said that he was reluctant to improve into this narrow run, bearing in mind the manner in which his mount raced throughout. His explanation was noted.

BONNIE BON BON - When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of the filly, trainer Mrs L. McCormack explained that BONNIE BON BON resents racing in restricted room and this contributed to today's improved performance in that the filly was able to settle in a rearward position and was able to obtain clear running on the extreme outside of the field.
