Race 1: Brian Stone Memorial Class 2 Handicap 950 metres:
1st – DAZZLUNA 2nd – RICH ‘N’ FAMOUS 3rd – THE HAWK ETERNAL 4th – GIVE ME TIME

GIVE ME TIME – Slow to begin.

I’M MARIAH – On return to scale jockey F Edwards reported that his mount was inclined to overrace throughout and refused to settle.

Race 2: Piccones Village On Pease Street Class 6 Plate 1250 metres:
1st – KING MAGNUSSON 2nd – RISE TO THE TOP 3rd – FIRMITAS 4th – DESTRUCTION

RISE TO THE TOP – Slow to begin.

DESTRUCTION – Was fractious in the barriers and began awkwardly. Raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages when racing in a three wide position without cover.

Race 3: FNQ Big Screens Maiden Plate 1250 metres:
1st – TESTAMYCOLOURS 2nd – ZEDAHEEL 3rd – COLOUR PARADE 4th – CENTREHALF FORWARD

CENTREHALF FORWARD – Slow to begin.

ZEDAHEEL – Began awkwardly.

BAR BABY – Rounding the first turn near the 1000m was inclined to hang out and made the turn awkwardly.

OLD RED – Approaching the 800m improved onto heels and had to be checked.

FRENCHENKA – For some distance rounding the home turn got its head up when reluctant to hold its position when racing to the inside of another runner.

Race 4: Bugeja Earthmoving/CSF Steel Class B Handicap 1500 metres:
1st – RACING IN THE WIND 2nd – ONEEYED UNDERTAKER 3rd – SERIKOS FLYER 4th – HOW ABOUT ME

HOW ABOUT ME – Stood flatfooted at the start and lost ground. Raced in restricted room over the concluding stages.

SERIKOS FLYER – Slow to begin.

SILVER STAR – Passing the 100m apprentice N Nelson accidentally dropped her whip.

ONEEYED UNDERTAKER – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off foreleg. Trainer Mr G Porter was told that prior to the gelding racing again he must furnish a veterinary certificate of fitness.
