Trainer G. Kinlyside pleaded guilty of a charge under LR68 in that he failed to scratch FOX WARRIOR (Race 5) be the prescribed time, and in doing so caused an emergency runner to be denied a start. Mr Kinlyside was fined the sum of $500.    
 
Race 1: NQ PETRO Maiden Handicap 1400 Metres
 
FINE IMPACT – Trainer F. Wieland advised it is the intention that the mare be ridden off the speed today if circumstances permit. It was ridden Accordingly. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
MINIEST – Buffeted between runners shortly after the start, shifted in abruptly causing rider I. Teh to become unbalanced.
 
EYE OF RA – Fractious in the barriers prior to the start and began awkwardly causing rider M. Castle to become unbalanced. Over-raced in the early and middle stages.
 
HALF EVIL – Laid out in the early stages.
ACCTORIES – Over-raced in the middle stages.

IMPEACHER – Raced three wide without cover for the majority of the race.

ST MORITZ – When questioned into its positioning today rider J. Doolan explained the gelding was racing truer since having the blinkers back on and with the step up in distance from its previous starts enabled it race in more forward position. Trainer J. Manzelmann agreed with J. Doolans explanation and their explanations were noted. 
 
Race 2: THE HISTORIC HAMBLEDON HOTEL Class 6 Handicap
1400 Metres
 
SOUTHERN SWING – Shifted in at the start forcing TYCOON BEAU inwards.
 
TYCOON BEAU – Forced inwards at the start bumping with LICONA. Threw its head in the air when being restrained shortly after the start. Laid in under pressure in the home straight.  

LICONA – Bumped on jumping. Over-raced in the middle stages.
 
Race 3: LOUIE PICCONE MEMORIAL QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap
875 Metres
 
SUNNY LASS – Slow to begin.

TO BOOGIE – Slow to begin.
 
WICKED CHANCE – Shifted out near the 200 metres forcing NUCLEAR GIRL wider.  
 
NUCLEAR GIRL – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Forced wider leaving the 200 metres then continued to shift out hampering MISSA A STITCH near the 150 metres. Rider L. Morrison was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances
 
MISSA STITCH – Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. Hampered near the 150 metres.  Raced wide for the majority of the race.

SIMPLY BEANS – Laid in over the concluding stages.
 
Race 4: NORWELD BENCHMARK 65 Handicap 875 Metres
 
BANK BANK BANK – Raced in restricted room shortly after the start.Jockey F. Edwards was found guilty of charge to careless riding pursuant to AR 131(a) for permitting his mount to shift in near the 550 metres when insufficiently clear of ARISE MY SON resulting in that runner being inconvenienced and shift in placing ELITE STANDARD in restricted room and shift in making contact with the running rail and lose ground. After hearing submissions on penalty, the license to ride in races of Jockey Edwards was suspended for a period of 9 days to commence midnight 5/11/2022 and to expire midnight 14/11/2022. Jockey Edwards was advised of his right to an internal review.
 
ARISE MY SON – Inconvenienced near the 550 metres having to be steadied and shifted in placing ELITE STANDARD in restricted which in turn shifted in making contact with the running rail before shifting out across the heels of BANK BANK BANK which shifted in.
 
ELITE STANDARD – Raced in restricted room near the 550 meters and shifted in making contact with the running rail and lost ground.
 
Race 5: GARY RICHES BUILDERS Class 1 Handicap 875 Metres
 
AIR FORCE ACE – Shifted out at the start being bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. Raced in restricted room near the 400 metres.
 
MY SISTER SAL – Tightened for room on jumping. Improved onto heels near the 400 metres and was restrained and shifted out. Laid in near the 200 metres becoming awkward on heels.  Forced out across heels near the 80 metres and was checked.
 
TEN SCHILLING – Inconvenienced near the 400 metres.
 
DEVIL – Shifted out near the 200 metres inconveniencing MY SISTER SAL which had a tendency to lay in. Shifted out under pressure near the 80 metres forcing MY SISTER SAL out across the heels of BEAN WARRIOR which shifted in marginally. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Jockey L. Morrison the rider of DEVIL pleaded guilty of a charge to careless riding pursuant to AR 131(a) for permitting her mount to shift out under riding near the 80 metres when insufficiently clear of MY SISTER SAL resulting in that runner being forced out across the heels BEAN WARRIOR and having to be checked by its rider. After hearing submissions on penalty, the license of jockey L. Morrison to ride in races was suspended for a period of 8 days to commence midnight 8/11/2022 and to expire midnight 16/11/2022. Jockey Morrison was advised of her right to an internal review.
 
BEAN WARRIOR – Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
Race 6: AUSTRALIAN AIRPORT SERVICES PTY LTD COUNTRY HEIST
BENCHMARK 58 Handica 1250 Metres
 
Zakheera – Slow to begin.
 
Captivated – Slow to begin. Rider K. Hocking was cautioned of his use of the whip.
 
Yoshi Toranaga – Began awkwardly.
 
Milky Rocket – Shifted in at the start bumping EAGLE EYE STAR. Raced wide in the early stages.  
 
Eagle Eye Star – Bumped on jumping. Raced wide in the early stages.  

Race 7: NORTHERN PRIDE OLD BOYS OPEN Handicap 1250 Metres
 
SILENT EXPLORER – Reluctant to proceed to the barriers. Trainer S. Massingham was advised a warning would be placed on the geldings pre-race behaviour.
 
TENNESSEE BOY – Began awkwardly and lost ground. Over-raced in the early stages. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
LOVE EXPRESS – Over-raced in the early stages. Raced wide without cover for the majority of the race.
 
HARD YAGA – Over-raced in the early stages.

Race 8: INSPIRATIONS PAINT RATINGS BAND 0 - 60 Handicap 1400 Metres
 
FIGURED – Stewards accepted the explanation tendered for the late declaration of rider for the gelding. Slow to begin.  
 
PLUCKERCARN – Slow to begin.
 
SPIRIT MEISTER – Over-raced in the early stages. Shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages forcing ROUGH CUT JEWEL wider. Rider R. Wiggins was severely reprimanded and advised to make a greater effort to keep his mounts straight in similar circumstances.
 
STRONACH – Held up for clear running entering the home straight until near the 200 metres.
 
LAUDEYLOU – Held up for clear running entering the home straight until near the 200 metres.
 
ROUGH CUT JEWEL – Forced wider over the concluding stages.
 
FORGIATO (NZ) – Raced wide for the majority of the race.

LET'S CONQUER – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
 
GAIUS JULIUS – Raced wide for the majority of the race.
