RACE 1: GLENCOE STATION - KOKODA QTIS MAIDEN PLATE - 1000M
 
Start of this race was delayed when Emus’ had to be removed from the course.
 
LA VOGLIA –Slow to begin when its barrier gate was slightly slow to open.
 
TARWYN BLUE – Slow to begin.
 
UNACCOMPANIED – Began awkwardly.
 
TOCCO D’ORO – Bumped at the start. Raced 3 wide without cover early stages.
 
THE SCOOP- Slow to begin.
 
 
RACE 2: HATCHMAN PETROLEUM - RATS OF TOBRUK BM 50 HCP - 1000M
 
Prior to this event, the barriers were tested without any issues detected.
 
Stewards accepted the late rider declaration of Apprentice S. Barlow to ride ARTFUL SONG.
 
WILD JUSTICE – Slow to begin.
 
COMESIDICE – Began awkwardly.
 
KAPACHINO MISS – Bumped at the start. Post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be mildly  lame on the near hind leg.
 
HIGHWAY CHILD – Race 3 wide with cover.
 
ARTFUL SONG- Raced very wide without cover throughout.
 
CAPITAL TYCOON – Post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have bled from one nostril. Trainer T. Higgins was advised that the gelding would be required to satisfactory complete 1000m gallop in the presence of a steward prior to racing again.
 
RACE 3:CUNNAMULLA BAKERY - CHANGI  RATING BAND 0- 60 HCP - 1200M   
 
Apprentice N. Morton was replaced by N. Fazackerley (BROWN CAVIAR). Subsequently App. Morton was fined $100 for failing to claim her full allowance.
 
SAN SEVERO – Slow to begin.
 
FRED – Raced 3 wide without cover.
 
TRUE JOY – Near the 600m got its head up in the air.
 
RHYTHM NATION  - Laid in during the home straight.
 

RACE 4: CUNNAMULLA & DDRC - ANZAC BATTLE OF THE BUSH QUALIFIER - OPEN PLATE- 1200M
 
WICKED WOODY – Began awkwardly losing some ground.
 
MORE OF THE ZAIM – Raced 3 wide without cover. Leaving the 1000m was taken wider  by FAB’S COWBOY which had to be steadied from heels of LOUPPY’S BEND. Apprentice S. Barlow was reminded of her obligations when shifting ground.
 
FAB’S COWBOY – Had to be steadied from heels leaving the 1000m. Hung out rounding the home turn.
 
TORERO – Jockey L. Tilley reported that the gelding was inclined to hang out throughout.
 
 
RACE 5:WN & TL HICKEY HAULAGE - BATTLE OF FROMELLE BM 55 HCP - 1400M
 
BRADY ‘N’ ME – Slow to begin.
 
NATIONAL JEWEL – Apprentice B. Rooney reported that the mare resented the kick back.
 
RED GERANIUM – Hung out rounding the home turn proving difficult to ride. Trainer W. Morris reported that the mare got its tongue over the bit.
 
YEEZY – Began awkwardly.
 
LASSZOU – Bumped at the start. Raced wide with cover throughout. Passing the 1000m had to be steadied from heels for a short distance.
 
PRICELESS DE HERO – Raced very wide without cover throughout.
 
LOTHBROK – Had to be steadied shortly after the start.
